06/04/2026: Very warm, friendly and helpful welcome, clean, children's play area completely renovated as well as the pétanque court and the maintenance of the swimming pools, restaurant and bar all renovated as well.

26/09/2026: This restaurant was steps away from our hotel. We were tired after a long day and did not want to venture far. As we were reading the menu outside the server handed us an English menu. We were looking for a basic French meal - nothing fancy. There were two beef items listed: Rib eye and “piece of beef”. Not being adventurous eaters, we asked and were told it was a small steak. We decided to stay, were seated, and our order was promptly taken. (It was somewhat early, according to Parisienne standards). The French onion soup was delightful - flavorful broth with a generous topping of golden cheese. The beef, which turned out to be skirt steak, was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The bill, which would have been almost double in an upscale American bistro, came to 76 euros, including a non-alcoholic beverage and a lovely Côte de Rhône. The server was friendly, pleasant, and, in spite of being busy, very accommodating. I highly recommend this charming little bistro on the Boulevard Saint-Jacques!

22/08/2026: I'm quite shocked by the 3.9 average rating, as this restaurant is not of good quality. A few months ago, it even had to close for a while due to hygiene issues. Absolutely avoid it.

20/09/2026: Shameful. We ordered ice cream at the kiosk around 4 PM for table service via a trolley. We waited over 20 minutes only to realize we had to pick it up at the counter. Our ice cream had been waiting for us for over 20 minutes, completely melted, and the two young female employees present were extremely unpleasant and refused to replace it. Considering the price of ice cream and other products at McDonald's these days, this is simply unbearable and unacceptable. Based on other reviews of this establishment and our own experience, I strongly advise against going there.

11/09/2026: Constant mistakes with orders, never any napkins or sauces available for takeout at the drive-thru, and all the toys are missing from the Happy Meals. In short, one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

04/09/2026: Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Nice. On the lively Rue Bonaparte is this very nice place that serves fantastic Attic food. Generous portions and world class service. Our party had booked a table which is recommended.

22/01/2026: The team is always smiling and offers an incredible welcome. The prices for takeaway pizzas are unbeatable, and on top of that, they're excellent. The burgers are just as delicious; personally, the Auvergnat is my favorite.

20/01/2026: Very good experience. Good protein content in their pizzas. Every Friday I get a free pizza: buy one pizza, get one free, and a slice goes to the dog.

28/05/2026: The room was a bit dated on my first stay, but fantastic on my second. In any case, congratulations to the hotel for the quality of the welcome, the service, and the restaurant. I highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: On our way back from Gironde to Yvelines along the main road, we stopped at this restaurant by chance, one of the very few open on a Monday along that route. We had a very good lunch there, with a starter, a main course, and a coffee for under €20 per person. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The welcome and service, provided by the same person, were very professional and friendly, and the portions were quite generous. Frankly, a great stop, especially on a Monday when many restaurants are closed, not to mention that there are very few along this main road.

11/12/2025: Extremely disappointed. I went to buy a Savoyard pizza. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone can give these pizzas good reviews. There was only dough, almost no topping, a bit of ham here and there, and as for cheese, forget about it. It had absolutely nothing to do with the name "Savoyard" at €13 a pizza. They're even better at Leclerc. This is the last time I'll go there; it was awful.

15/10/2025: The best pizzas in Villeneuve, in our opinion! Quality food, quick preparation, always a treat.

27/06/2026: Family-run hotel, very well located, very clean room and bathroom. The managers are welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast are very reasonably priced; simple but good. No complaints 🙂 I'll keep the address in mind if I'm ever in the area again; I won't hesitate to return.

08/05/2026: There are still some clean, pleasant, inexpensive hotels where they might rip you off with an exorbitant breakfast price. Well, the Hotel de France is one of them. I recommend this reasonably priced hotel; you feel right at home.

19/08/2026: I've been in the area for 20 years and I only discovered this Chinese restaurant two days ago. How could I have missed it? The food is amazing and I highly recommend it.
