09/07/2026: Open 365 days a year. Several varieties of bread to satisfy everyone. Fresh and varied snacks. I particularly recommend the following, as they are truly delicious: - the strawberry tart (made to order) - the pizzas (made to order and unbeatable prices).

11/05/2026: January 2026: Despite the cashier's recurring rudeness (always the same one, see below), I'm adding a star for the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the beautiful setting. However, I still want to ask this charming young man at the register to improve, especially since the rest of the staff is very helpful. October 2024: For the second time this year, we received very poor service from the same cashier who completely ignored us while he was washing up, and then ignored us again while our card was being charged and waiting to be removed from the card reader. When asked, "Is there a minimum purchase amount for the card?" this charming gentleman replied, "Yes." After three seconds, I had to add, "What amount?" before finally receiving the answer: "€1." It's a shame because the food is impeccable and the waitstaff is very professional and courteous. February 2018: The food is still excellent. The only wok restaurant in Nîmes to offer salmon steak and sirloin steak (Dutch origin, no less!) even at lunchtime! The fried food isn't greasy, the desserts are varied, and now they even have candy (strawberries, bananas, etc.). The Kinémenu deal is really good value: €20.50 for the menu + a movie ticket, making it only €7 per ticket. The waitresses are very courteous and do their jobs well (greeting, service, cleaning). June 2017: A very wide selection, with elegant starters (grilled eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes, spring rolls, etc.). There's also a wide selection of main courses and sauces (sweet chili, hot chili, etc.). However, the wasabi sauce isn't great. A large selection of ice cream and desserts. The atmosphere is bright and very pleasant. The wok menu has a more limited selection, but they do have duck breast and salmon, even at lunchtime! Plus: a physiotherapy menu that includes a cinema ticket for under €8!!!

01/05/2026: My son and I went there after the cinema to get takeout. When I tried to ask for help, the person didn't listen and told me to wait at the counter. We left after 5 minutes because we were being ignored. I will never set foot in that establishment again.

06/03/2026: The steak was overcooked; the waitress told us that it wasn't their specialty.

12/01/2026: Perfect! I arrived at 9:00 PM and they were still accepting customers. The service was quick and the staff attentive. The meat was delicious, the fries were scrumptious, and the salad was dressed just right. I'll be back!

22/07/2026: We ordered mixed drinks, which were sent back twice because there were "UFOs" in them. The pasta carbonara was a disaster (overcooked). Frankly, the food isn't homemade at all, since the menu is way too long. When you ask what's in the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee), they can't tell you... No compensation offered. And we eat out a lot! For the price, there's Uncle Donald's cousin, and you might eat better there (it can't be worse). Avoid at all costs...

16/01/2026: The restaurant and staff were very pleasant. The food was high quality, presented on platters, making it easy to share. A great place to have a good time.

19/05/2026: The hotel wasn't clean, the staff, though somewhat helpful, looked worse for wear. The owner was grumpy and now I am about to engage in a payment dispute as he charged me on top of (crappy) Booking.com. Such a shame as the location is perfect and my room had a nice view of the gorge. This place could be quite special if there was some tender loving care. Really annoyed at the payment shenanigans.

17/05/2026: Fantastic stay at Hotel Le Belvédère, the staff are amazing! The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely view. A real bonus is the quiet, heated pool – very relaxing. Thanks again!

06/06/2026: It's good, but the rest... the service is frankly catastrophic. They're incredibly unpleasant and, above all, way too rushed. It even becomes stressful to be in this restaurant. Plus, the noise is awful, there are drafts everywhere. In short, frankly, only the food is good.

06/10/2025: A great evening at this lively bar with a fantastic live band. Entry was free, however, drinks were very expensive (€8 for a Coke and €12 for a beer...).

11/09/2025: We were having a great evening with a small band playing music and a happy, festive atmosphere until the bar owner decided to verbally attack my husband for no reason. He then physically threatened him by trying to fight him outside. A very bad experience and we absolutely do not recommend this kind of place.

24/07/2026: So I knew it before, it was very good, last week we went there with a work colleague, and then surprise, a couple there, not speaking French, no welcome, open but no food, we didn't understand everything....

13/07/2026: The setting is pleasant and the view magnificent. But the food isn't worth the price. The pasta was served to me crunchy, barely cooked, straight from the package. The salmon/scallop carpaccio was bland, neither seasoned nor flavorful. In short, considering the price, it's easy to find better.

13/07/2026: Inhumane Behavior – No Respect for the Elderly I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the behavior of the staff at this establishment. Today, I was accompanying my 75-year-old mother who urgently needed to use the restroom. As there were no public restrooms nearby, we politely asked for access to their facilities. We even offered to pay for it. Despite my mother's advanced age and our offer to pay, we were refused access without any compassion whatsoever. You have establishments in the best locations in the city, you market yourselves as super stylish, trendy, and fashionable places, but what you sorely lack is a modicum of humanity. Your chic image is worthless if you lack basic decency. It is an absolute disgrace to lack humanity and empathy to this extent. We all have an elderly mother or loved ones; to be so ruthless towards a vulnerable person in distress is simply deplorable. An establishment that lacks such respect for elders and human decency does not even deserve a star. We will never return and advise everyone not to support such insensitive business. Your chic image is worth nothing if you lack basic decency. It is absolutely shameful how any sense of humanity and empathy is missing here. Everyone has a mother or elderly relative—to behave so mercilessly in an emergency situation is just sad. Anyone with so little respect for the elderly and basic decency does not deserve a single star. We will never set foot in this place again and can only advise everyone against supporting such a heartless business.
