04/08/2026: The wait time at IKEA Bordeaux this morning was catastrophic, over an hour's wait and I'm still far from being called!!!

18/07/2026: Hello, After ordering a Caesar salad and a Milano salad, we had to wait at least 30 minutes. The waitress was unfriendly. The salad was swimming in dressing. The salmon was tasteless. The dressing was room temperature in this heat. I do not recommend it.

07/07/2026: Perhaps I agree with the owner that he can't store it, but paying over 3 euros for an old can of Coke? You might as well buy it at Leclerc for that price.

28/03/2026: When you walk into a brasserie and a giant screen is showing CNews, not everyone feels welcome. So, personally, I avoid it. A business should remain neutral. I don't recommend it. Especially since the Rue de la Gaité is full of brasseries...

30/07/2026: I paid an arm and a leg for a portion of noodles and a bit of chicken with a pathetic skewer that was barely 5 millimeters thick (€20 extra). It was awful, plus there wasn't even cutlery. The only positive point was the air conditioning, and even then...

07/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best Asian restaurant in town! A wide selection of dishes and appetizers; there's something for everyone. The flavors are amazing, and everyone will find something they love. Ideally located just steps from the train station and the sea. I highly recommend it!

20/07/2026: We made a quick visit to this restaurant yesterday and ordered two pizzas and mussels and fries. The pizza was dry, tasteless, and very sparsely topped. As for the service, I won't even mention it. The waitress was aggressive and completely unprofessional, practically throwing the plates on the table and not knowing a word of politeness. (Thanks to the previous owner, who was much more customer-oriented.)

02/08/2026: We knew the Chalet de la Frasse before the change of ownership, what a disappointment to return now.... The owner's inappropriate remarks loudly about the customers do not help to overlook the exorbitant prices, it is a shame that this legendary place has become cold and unpleasant.

01/08/2026: As hikers, we booked half-board at €62 per person. There was no shower, just a few sinks side-by-side without a cubicle (this wasn't mentioned when we booked), no drinking water, and the 1.5L bottle of crystal-clear water cost €3.50, not even included in the evening meal! There were unpleasant remarks where the customer had to adapt to the restaurant owner's demands. Five hikers with no connection to each other had to agree on a common breakfast time because it was impossible to offer several options. We had to compromise on our departure times, all of which had to be before 8:00 AM because our host was leaving to do his shopping afterward. The rude remarks were truly inappropriate.

30/07/2026: Atmospheric, but not very tasty. Prices are like in Monaco, portions are small, and the waiter didn't try at all.

08/06/2026: Acceptable, though the service was slow due to a shift change. Our dishes were good except for the ice cream—it wasn't really ice cream, more like a custard, as it was melting when it was served. A shame.

07/02/2026: Superb brasserie! The servers are incredibly friendly and always smiling. The service is quick and clean. The portions are generous, making it excellent value for money! My husband, my two children, and I each ordered different dishes, and all four of us loved it. We highly recommend it!

07/07/2026: Best café/restaurant in La Rochelle, for its atmosphere, generous portions, and the kindness of the owners. A simple place where it's great to meet up.

10/06/2026: We came for lunch today as a couple. The tartare was exquisite, beautifully presented, and served with homemade fries sprinkled with fleur de sel, a salad with grated carrots, and a well-balanced vinaigrette. Go without hesitation; the menu is small but features fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it.

02/07/2026: Always excellent. It's a shame they switched to spaghetti instead of penne with the escalopes without mentioning it when I ordered. I specifically asked for penne, otherwise I would have chosen fries.

25/05/2026: Ideally located less than 300 meters from the beach and its cliffs. A 5-minute drive from Le Tréport. Typical regional architecture. The friendly and professional staff at this establishment welcome you warmly. The large, shaded garden is perfect for dinner or breakfast. My wife and I highly recommend it for a relaxing stay.

25/05/2026: A very beautiful establishment with a magnificent park where we enjoyed dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. The meals are very good with a wide selection, and we were also able to enjoy the spa area.

The welcome is warm and the service is quick. We only had breakfast, and the portions were generous with very reasonable prices considering the quality. Expect to pay around €10 per person for a coffee (bonus: the double espresso was the same price as a single espresso, which is quite rare!), a pastry—unfortunately, they were out of croissants 😭—and an orange juice that seemed to be homemade, although I'm not entirely sure. If you're hesitating between Starbucks and this restaurant, choose the latter: it's much nicer, warmer, and above all, more local!
