11/03/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! I came for lunch with my colleagues. We were served after a 1 hour and 10 minute wait. We had all ordered fish. The fish was served in pieces, sometimes too salty, sometimes undercooked. The pasta had a peculiar taste. One colleague found a piece of metal. We paid a lot for what it was.

14/02/2026: I ordered takeout, I live right across the street, and the fries were cold, with a hair in one of the sandwiches. I went back two minutes later and explained to the manager that it wasn't acceptable. She responded haughtily, when the least she could do was apologize. Disappointed. I won't be going back.

04/06/2026: The taco recipe wasn't followed; there was a piece of aluminum foil in the sandwich. He refused to remake the taco because of his mistake.

08/05/2026: We ordered pizzas for dinner as a family and were very disappointed by the thinness and quality of the crust, as well as the small amount of toppings. The pizzas had virtually no flavor, and we all had stomach aches a few hours later and throughout the night. The only positive points were that some of the ingredients seemed fresh and the pizza maker was friendly.

31/05/2026: First purchase at this establishment. I bought a strawberry cake which disappointed me; it was like eating butter. The cake didn't hold its shape when I cut it. This is the first time I've been disappointed by a strawberry cake.

11/07/2026: Very disappointed. I've ordered several times before. It's never really anything special (too thin a crust, not enough toppings, quite dry), but it was still okay in a pinch. Tonight, we ordered two pizzas… which arrived burnt. I couldn't eat much of it because it just tasted burnt; it was crunchy. Almost thirty euros for two burnt pizzas is outrageous. I definitely don't recommend it.

01/08/2026: The setting is nice, not cramped. The service is good, quite fast. The only downside is the pizzas: they are very, very thin and lack a soft, chewy texture. The edges are so crispy you wonder what you're eating. They're still tasty, but they're nowhere near as good as Italian pizzas, which is a shame.

Verdict: disappointed both times! 2025: - My 4-year-old daughter got 3 wasp stings in ONE meal, the terrace was swarming with them! The staff offered nothing to help my daughter (no ice pack or anything), they didn't even come to check on her even though they saw what was happening (a child screaming 3 times during a meal doesn't go unnoticed). - Very slow service. - But the pizzas were alright. 2026: - The terrace was still swarming with wasps, a nightmare trying to have a peaceful snack. The neighboring tables were struggling just like us. - Extremely slow service even though we only ordered 4 crepes for our snack. - The crepes were awful. I was quite disappointed and upset because, considering the price of the crepes, I don't understand how they could be so badly cooked! They weren't cooked at all. My daughters didn't eat a thing, even though we're talking about 4 and 5-year-olds who are usually very greedy. - The staff isn't very friendly; they respond very curtly when we ask where the restrooms are, etc. The next day we tried the terrace next door: "Le Refuge." We were won over, and I'm going to leave them a review too (wasp traps absolutely everywhere and incredibly effective because we didn't see a single one bother us; they were all caught in the traps. Chez Papaz should take note... The woman who served us (probably the manager) and the servers are super friendly, a very family-oriented atmosphere. The manager takes the time to chat with each customer, making everyone feel valued. She had a lovely chat with my daughters and gave them a small pack of crayons... we were won over!). We won't be trying Chez Papaz a third time.

06/08/2026: We were seated on the terrace... The table was wobbly, the waiter had to stabilize it, and we felt like we were asking for a favor. The tablecloth was stained, a glass was chipped... The scene was set, and we should have left then and there because what followed was disastrous... We were immediately served bread and fish rillettes to appease us. Then we waited quite a while for our aperitif... Our order was taken for a "main course and dessert" set menu. The waiter didn't write it down: a fillet of pollock with coconut curry sauce. The main course was served after an interminable wait, with us being given "cocottes" (small casseroles)!?... "Coconut" sauce and "cocotte" if you're not paying attention... Why not!... So, surprise, it had nothing to do with the fish or the curry sauce. We started eating, of course. We had to try it!... The sauce was greasy and tasteless, and the fish didn't taste like fish at all. And for good reason: the waiter, having failed to note our order, served us calf's head with gribiche sauce in a casserole dish... We realized what had happened when we consulted the menu again to choose our dessert. This time, a waitress asked if everything was alright... We expressed our doubts about this dish, which we barely touched and barely touched. Another waiter came to apologize, and the one who took our order simply told us that the mistake was ours! We tasted it, so no changes were made. Then came dessert, and more waiting... We went to pay the bill, which we checked, and to our astonishment, we were charged for dishes from the menu, including a veal sweetbread at €30.50 and a dessert at €10 instead of the €26.50 set menu price. A heated argument ensued. This same gentleman kept interrupting us, insisting that we had to pay for what we ate... Okay, but first, the main course was wrong, and second, the bill was incorrect. He had a complicated explanation and even suggested we call the police. What business is it of the police?!... A real nightmare. The bottom line is we'll never go back and we'll let everyone we know about how we were treated.

The welcome was very professional, respectful, responsive, available, and incredibly efficient. Above all, the atmosphere was very calm and pleasant, with the servers attentive to our needs and questions. I found the service to be excellent in terms of quality, friendliness, kindness, generosity, honesty, humanity, and humility—a unique quality evident both in their daily work and in their approach to the restaurant. 13/05/2026: A terrible restaurant with appalling service and food that didn't live up to Lebanese cuisine. Empty plates were served to customers; for me, it was a rip-off. A very, very bad experience. I advise customers to avoid this restaurant.
