05/08/2026: It's impossible to rate the food. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken, only to be told that the typical dish (fondue) was no longer available... We left and don't wish to return.

04/08/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch, a party of four, without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome; the waiter immediately brought us a bowl of water for our dog. We ordered truffade, which we enjoyed, and the charcuterie was very good. My only complaint is that the beers are sold in bottles, but I understand the choice. The local lemonade is very good. A major plus: the waiter was very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations. I recommend it.

12/09/2026: Passing through Brittany...and craving pizza... I noticed a small place, a menu...and I went in! Surprise, surprise... The owner, Marco, is super welcoming, kind, and rock and roll... the waitress, Gyna? Sorry for the spelling lol (his right-hand woman 😉), is very attentive to the customers and really nice too... The pizza is excellent, I recommend the calzone, revisited by Chef Marco...simply amazing 😜 We were welcomed without a reservation, it was off-season, maybe you won't be so lucky 🙈 Lack of Jupiler beer 🤣 We highly recommend it! The Belgian has the calzone!!

03/09/2026: Friendly welcome. Original and delicious pizzas. Lively conversation between customers and staff at the pizzeria, in several languages. A very pleasant evening.

06/08/2026: This was by far the best cafe experience I have ever had- I had told Ariel that I was pursuing a coffee education and he spent a very kind amount of time teaching me how their process works. I was extremely surprised with the hospitality and am very grateful and lucky to have happened to stop by. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!!

03/08/2026: Really disappointing after reading great reviews. Service was fine, but the croissants were flat and damp inside instead of crispy with fluffy layers, the orange juice tasted like concentrate and the serving was beefed up with ice, and the coffee was burnt. We waited to get a pain au chocolat which took ages and eventually had to swap for a croissant. The breakfast combo at 14,50€ is more than most sit down places and not worth the price. Was so excited to try this spot, but would not go back or recommend for breakfast.

06/10/2026: Not great, the dining room is small with too many booths; if you're seated at the back and it's crowded, it's a real struggle to get to the restroom. I ordered a medium-rare hanger steak and received a rare one. The staff were friendly, but the price of the meal didn't reflect the quality. Disappointing

20/08/2026: Arrived just before 2pm. Their website clearly states open till 3. People were in the restaurant still being served food and we were told food was ‘finished’. It appears previous reviews are correct and they are not interested in new customers! Very short sighted. Extremely unwelcoming owner. I wish her luck in keeping the business alive!

05/09/2026: As pleasant as a prison door in the middle of a heatwave. (I'm editing to say that even a bicycle seat in the middle of August is more pleasant.)

19/08/2026: Excellent value for money. The food is very good and well presented. The only slight drawback is the cleanliness of the toilets.

19/09/2026: We ate here several times while we were in La Rochelle and each time was wonderful and memorable. The weather was crazy that week so we enjoyed sunny days that were fun and relaxing, overcast days, and one particular day there was a serious downpour and every person in the area ran into this cafe for shelter to the point that there was standing room only. The staff did their utmost to make sure everyone had a drink and this merry band of weather-refugees turned into an international party of merry souls. They do the best mussels with this smokey flavor that I’ve had anywhere in the world! Fabulous place to get a drink, have a meal, and to people watch. We were treated like gold!

29/08/2026: The food was of mediocre quality, the duck was dry and tasted like Sodexo, the meal reminded us of school cafeteria food, which is to say, nothing :)

19/09/2026: We came for the first time today and what a pleasure! The owner is very kind and approachable, the place is clean, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and especially the generous portions. I highly recommend it; we will definitely return.

26/08/2026: A regular at Kebab d'Or since childhood, and knowing all the snack bars in town, if you want a real taco made with heart, passion, and enthusiasm, you have to go there. It's incredibly tasty, packed with sauce, meat, and fries, perfectly balanced and nice and greasy, just the way we like it. For those who know tacos, when you watch him make a taco, he really puts his weight into it. He doesn't just roll it, he presses down to seal it. He's very experienced, having watched me grow up. It might not be the absolute best taste—yes, I know I contradicted myself—but it's the best taco experience, which is why it surpasses the taste. Then there are the kebabs, hence the name "Kebab d'Or." They're perfect: the bread is toasted before the filling is added so it's nice and crispy, and then cooked again so the meat blends perfectly with the bread. There's hardly any wait; it's very quick and efficient. Deserves a very good GG (Good Game).

14/09/2026: A very pleasant time spent in this garden of flavors. A subtle blend of flavors and tastes at a reasonable price. It was a true delight for our palates.

07/08/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars because the staff are friendly, I have no complaints there. However, some dishes aren't really worth it, like their pizza; I was a bit disappointed. On the other hand, their hamburgers are the best.

21/06/2026: Hello, I came with my family on Friday evening and we were very disappointed. I ordered chicken pasta which was really not very good: far too much cream and very little flavor. The wait was also far too long. I hadn't been back for four years and, honestly, there are many things that need improvement. The shisha area is mixed in with the dining area, the lawn is poorly maintained, the kitchen is located outside the restaurant, and the cocktails lacked flavor and weren't sweet enough. It's a shame, because I had much better memories of it. For me, this experience was a real disappointment.

09/09/2026: Normally an annual event. Unfortunately, the concept has changed, and the influences are now Spanish instead of Italian. Prices have risen enormously, and portions have been minimized. For me, unfortunately, the price is no longer commensurate with the quality... the location remains exceptionally beautiful.

05/09/2026: I’ve been here twice and had quite different experiences. The first time, in July, I ate at the restaurant and it was excellent. I had an amazing fideuà — honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, even better than some I’ve had in Spain. The clericó was delicious too, and the olives served with the drinks are absolutely phenomenal. This time, we ordered food directly from our beach beds and, unfortunately, it was a little disappointing. We had the fried calamari and the octopus à lagareiro, and I wouldn’t order either of them again. An exception was the amazing coconut icecream with mango cubes. That said, the clericó was still very good, the view is beautiful, and the sunbeds and lounge chairs are really comfortable. One thing to keep in mind: you either need to bring your own towel or rent one for €10 each. Overall, I’d definitely come back for the setting, drinks and atmosphere — and based on my first experience, I’d probably choose to eat at the restaurant rather than ordering from the beach beds.

04/09/2026: Hello I've already ordered a pizza… the pizza was very good, but the staff was very poor! Today, since opening time, I've been calling, but no one answers… They've lost two pizzas… Oh well, I'll go somewhere else!

29/06/2026: I don't know how they manage to get a good rating? I had a burger where the meat was of very poor quality (the cheapest option). Since this establishment was taken over, it's been terrible. The new owners clearly don't care about food! And the price is far too high. Honestly, after several attempts, I can tell you to avoid it...

23/06/2026: Cute bistro, the food is great. A bit busy between 12pm and 1pm, but from 1pm onwards it's fantastic 👌

18/08/2026: Excellent brunch with original recipes that are a refreshing change from the usual fare! Special mention to the bissap, a truly wonderful discovery. I highly recommend this place!
