16/03/2026: Honestly, everything was perfect, exactly as I'd hoped. From the careful planning of the event (a birthday party with 40 people) to the execution itself. No fuss, everything was simple and seamless. Julie is extremely friendly, very attentive and responsive, and the staff was "perfect." My guests also showered them with stars, highlighting the precision of the cuisine and the cooking. We were in a very bright room, overlooking a terrace at the top of the Rosny golf course. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories, like Proust's madeleine ("remember C's 70th birthday?" it was superb). As you can tell, I highly recommend it. Best of luck to Birdie, I'll be back.

17/03/2026: Excellent pizzas, great ingredients, and the pizza dough was truly superb! We'll be back. Very good service and a lovely atmosphere.

16/03/2026: We stopped by before a concert at the Grand Rex. A very good Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. The pizzas are good and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time, otherwise we would have stayed longer.

26/03/2026: Quite wonderful! A meal I'm sure to remember for a long time. I had the egg mergeutte and the beef cheeks with carrot.

12/03/2026: Where is the cheese trolley that made this restaurant famous? I used to go there several times before COVID… today, I was limited to two types of cheese (St. Nectaire and Comté)… luckily the head waiter told me it was 18-month aged Comté because the waitress didn't know! As for the food, it's still decent, but it's lost the gourmet touch that made this beautiful restaurant so special (and people also come here for its fireplace).

26/02/2026: Excellent food, from burgers to skate wings and steak tartare. A minor drawback was the extremely fast service; we barely had time to finish our aperitifs before our main courses arrived, and then, as I was leaving for the restrooms, they asked if I wanted dessert. We would have liked to have enjoyed a longer meal that evening.

10/07/2025: I'm a regular customer at least once a week. The quality and quantity of the products are quite good, but the only downside is the wait time, which is too long. I recommend the pizzas 🍕 and the super good tacos.

17/03/2026: A great place for lunch in Saint Emilion. In fact, I had one of my favourite meals so far this trip. I struggle with how heavy many lunches are in France. L’Absolu had lighter options including warm goat cheese salad which was fantastic. We arrived a bit late considering we had a tour starting at 2 but we were in and out in just less than an hour. We ate inside where the dining room is in a cave. Definitely recommend. Posted this to the wrong profile before. Oops.

16/03/2026: A very good experience at La Table du Lac. I had the steak tartare, which was truly excellent. The setting is beautiful, and the service was also good. However, I'm not giving it 5 stars because serving frozen fries for an establishment with the "Maître Restaurateur" label is a bit disappointing. Homemade fries would have been much appreciated. Nevertheless, it's still a very good place to eat.

23/02/2026: I came with my partner, each having a gift card to eat there. We ate very well, and the service was quick. However, upon arriving at the register, we discovered that our respective gift cards could not be combined (and this wasn't specified on the card). We wanted to create two separate accounts so that both could be used, but the cashier refused. I find this practice far too commercial… It's a real shame, as it left a bad taste in our mouths.
