31/05/2026: A first for us tonight! We ordered three pizzas, and they were all incredible! They were fully loaded with toppings and the ingredients were top-quality! Ordering by phone was quick and the wait was short. The service was also perfect; we'll definitely be back!

01/08/2026: Very disappointed. Yesterday I placed an order on the website, and when I went to pay by credit card, the price of a kilo of Honduras coffee jumped from €26.79 to €3 more. What kind of rip-off is this? I'll be buying elsewhere from now on. 😡

03/08/2026: The bouncer told us the bar only accepts customers he knows. I'm stunned. As a customer, I went to the trouble of going there only to be refused entry. It's outrageous! I absolutely do not recommend it; the bar isn't worth the trip.

20/09/2026: A wonderful discovery during our stay in Corsica in September! 🇫🇷🌿 We had a fantastic time at this restaurant, with a very kind team and a truly warm welcome. The meals were delicious, everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. 😍 The prices are also very reasonable considering the quality, which is really appreciated. We highly recommend this place! 02/10/2026: A burger with a hair in it. When I complained, they told me "it's nothing" and that it must be "just a thread." I didn't know eating a bit of "thread" was part of the menu... When someone pays for a service, it seems reasonable to expect it to be performed with respect for hygiene standards. The manager then asked me what I wanted to do, after clearly giving me the impression that having a hair in my burger was perfectly normal. So I asked for a refund, but he hesitated to even give it to me and finally decided to make me a new one. In the end, he left as if running away from his customer, without really trying to understand or properly handle the situation. Zero stars for customer service and a zero for the menu.

03/10/2026: A wonderful spot for lunch… but also simply for enjoying a drink on the terrace! Café de l’Échiquier has everything we love about a good brasserie: a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, a menu varied enough to please everyone, and daily specials that keep things fresh. The terrace is also very pleasant when the weather is nice and makes you want to linger, even outside of mealtimes. A friendly place where you eat well, receive a warm welcome, and simply want to come back.

The food is delicious, from appetizers to desserts, with a special mention for the bartender's incomparable Spritz! This establishment is a sure bet for a great time!

30/01/2026: Bought a palmier pastry and a baguette around 3 PM. Both were stale, at least since the day before. The palmier pastry was so hard it was inedible. The staff were rude and incompetent. The atmosphere was awful.

21/08/2026: I highly recommend it. I've celebrated my birthday there twice in a row, four years apart, and it's always been a pleasure! I went a week in advance to get all the necessary information, and everything was exactly as described! Free private hire, the option to dine (with shared food), dance, and drinks! ✨ Located right on the waterfront, it's especially lovely when the weather is nice (sunset viewing is an extra charge). The servers are very friendly!

13/08/2026: The place itself isn't bad. The drinks are expensive and mediocre. The food is very expensive and among the worst you can find in Paris. If this business hasn't gone bankrupt, it's solely thanks to its location on the banks of the Seine.

15/09/2026: A restaurant on the edge of the Vanades lake, good food. Quality wine. One regret: the pizza chef was no longer there. 4 stars only because of this absence. An ideal place for a meal in a friendly and relaxing setting.

12/09/2026: I arrived at 5:45 PM, and someone was served right in front of me (Coke, soft drinks, etc.). Then she told us they couldn't serve us anymore because we were finishing up service in the brasserie and moving on to the restaurant. Yet last time I was told that brasserie service ended at 6 PM!
