18/09/2026: THE BRASSERIE'S TUMMY Don't expect to find the brasserie of yesteryear. I'm reluctantly giving it one star. Zero would be generous: the place is dirty, dark, and unwelcoming. I ordered a steak with an egg on top. - Only the egg is homemade. - The fries are dry, the grated carrots straight from the bag. - The seasoning is awful. - The steak is fatty. In fact, halfway through the meal, I heard the microwave beeping... I was hoping to console myself with a chocolate mousse. It wasn't proper baking chocolate. I'd call it more like pre-made powder with a little water added. And if, as the waiter (rather sloppy, in flip-flops) and a woman in the kitchen claim, it's "homemade," they should find another line of work! I couldn't even get past the first spoonful. I immediately called the waiter over to tell him I wouldn't eat it. He sniffed it: "It's perfectly fine." I insisted it wasn't, and he went to ask the woman in the kitchen. Could I have expected any other answer than "well, it's fine"? If I had been the woman, or even the waiter, I would have apologized and offered to buy a hot drink. The attitude is appropriate for the setting. See their response. Not at all! The dish was around €15. I paid €23, including the coffee and... the foam! I will not go back under any circumstances. P.S. in response to the rather cheeky message from someone at the brasserie. I'm speechless. - You have a few fingers to open the bags of carrots. - If the plate came back empty, it's because the waiter finished it on the way. The fries were soggy and cold, the meat very fatty, and so on. —You forgot to mention, in your delusional rant, that the chocolate mousse was made with ingredients straight from Lenôtre! I'll stop there.

28/02/2026: We booked the entire floor for a birthday party. We had a fantastic evening; the welcome and service were exceptional, as was the customer service. A big thank you to Lionel.

26/01/2026: We booked this venue (upstairs and rooftop) for an after-work gathering and everything went very well. The manager was attentive and available throughout the entire planning process. The buffet was also very good. Great evening!

26/09/2026: I'm not giving it one star because I can't judge the service since we didn't end up sitting down, and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and not completely ruin the reviews and ratings. We wanted to have ice cream and a drink on the terrace. We arrived and didn't know whether to sit on the terrace or serve ourselves at the counter. After asking upon entering, since no one came to greet us on the steps, we were told we could do as we pleased. So we said we would sit down since we had spotted an available table outside in the shade. We were told to pick up the menus on our way out, which I already found a bit much, especially since the two waitresses were chatting inside, but whatever, the weather was nice, it was the weekend, so it wasn't a big deal. So we took the menus and went to find a table, but unfortunately, other people had arrived in the meantime and sat down at the last remaining table in the shade. So we went to ask the staff if we could get a table in the shade (many tables and chairs were folded up), and they told us, "No, we're not adding any more tables, there's space inside or out front." We wanted to be outside, but not in direct sunlight, so I asked if we could have a parasol, and they didn't answer me; they just looked at me as if I were speaking Chinese. So we put down our cards and left. That's it, a lost sale. I find this behavior very unacceptable for a business. Your advantage is being one of the only ice cream shops open on the Place du Château in Aubenas on this last weekend of September. Luckily for you, because judging by the staff's behavior, there's nothing to encourage us to come back.

23/08/2026: I stayed here for my brother's wedding to my partner. It's a very peaceful hotel, surrounded by nature. Very comfortable and beautiful, I loved it. 100% recommended.

09/08/2026: We received very friendly service. The pizza was topped with fresh ingredients and was very tasty.

07/08/2026: I come here occasionally to eat with colleagues. The four-seasons pizza I always order is excellent (the owner will know me). My colleagues' meals are generous and delicious, and every time I ask them, "Where would you like to go eat?" they answer, "At Arlecchino." A big thank you again to the owner and his team for treating us so well every time.

14/09/2026: A disgusting American-style burger with just steak and fries, a single line of mayo in the bun and nothing on the fries. I don't call that an American-style burger, not even a salad or anything. A disgrace for 6 euros.

29/05/2026: Oh my god... what a terrible discovery... coming from Dunkirk, the North, fresh fries, XXXL quantity, quality meat, friendly atmosphere, respect, good humor, family atmosphere, etc... well, here it's the complete opposite, and I'm even giving it one star because I have to, even zero is too much... and the woman, well, I'm not sure... haughty, arrogant, completely out of it, sweats like a cow pissing, cold as a cucumber, even a dead person is warmer, works without gloves, wipes her forehead... the worst chip shop in France... avoid it... I ran away!

02/09/2026: We stopped by Café du Normandy and drank two drinks from the very friendly owners, remembering the Easy company.

07/08/2026: For a mint diabolo and a shandy, it would be good to check the lemonades, the flat shandy, and the diabolo without bubbles.

02/08/2026: We go there regularly; the salads are well-made. But it's impossible to eat in because someone living above the restaurant apparently waters their plants all day long, so water drips onto the tables all day... a real shame.

09/08/2026: The buffet was terrible, leaving much to be desired. The spring rolls and doughnuts were defrosted, the dishes were very average, and the cleanliness was appalling – the tables were dusty and covered in crumbs. I wouldn't go back; it was awful.

12/10/2026: One small coleslaw and one spring roll = 9 euros! The salad was weighed along with the spring roll... Dishonest and unfriendly. I won't be going back.

22/09/2026: While in Paris, we stumbled upon this restaurant/caterer. We were greeted politely and with a smile. The service was quick and the food was good. We'll definitely keep the address in mind and return.

19/09/2025: Laurent passed away this summer. It is with great sadness that we lost this unique man with a big heart. He will forever remain our beloved host in our pallet village of Le Tholonet. We will miss you. You and I were the oldest pallet merchants... The old-timers. Rest in peace. Your neighbor, the seamstress. 🙏

10/09/2026: A good working-class restaurant with a good selection

25/06/2026: Good restaurant, generous starter buffet, fast service, smiling and cheerful waitresses. The person behind the bar was rather cold and unfriendly, but no big deal, I'm here for lunch. Upon entering the establishment, I noticed a note crossed out with a highlighter on the glass door with two meal prices: €16 for "workers" and €17, the amount I paid for other socioeconomic categories. I wondered if this pricing system isn't discriminatory? I often eat lunch out all over France in workers' or truck stop restaurants, and this is the first time I've encountered this. The appetizer buffet, main courses, dessert buffet, and even the carafe of water are identical. I'm not commenting today over a symbolic euro, and I think and hope there's a rational explanation. Please ensure I receive a response.

02/09/2026: A disgrace! Almost eight euros for a ham salad, with barely any ham, unlike the salad which is overflowing. Eight euros for a salad? I hope that with the profit you're making you at least pay your employees properly.

29/08/2026: This place is a stop on our route, and it's always a pleasure to stop for a coffee and pastries. The products are excellent. The bread wreath is high quality and keeps very well. We couldn't resist the dried sausage, which was delicious.
