27/05/2026: The service was very unpleasant and rude. It's better to sit on the terrace next door.

14/03/2026: My first time at this hotel. I'll start with the negatives. *The rooms are starting to show their age; a good refresh would be welcome. *Parking is not free; you'll have to pay €3 to park. *The television has very limited channels, as they are often scrambled or don't work very well. I didn't notice any housekeeping or poor cleaning, just aging equipment. Overall, it's quite quiet, except in the morning when the cleaning staff shout at each other. I think they forget that some people are sleeping during the day. The reception staff are pleasant, especially the person who works the night shift at reception and serves breakfast in the morning—a very nice and friendly person! Otherwise, it's good value for money, but the €3 parking fee is definitely a drawback.

29/06/2026: Grumpy waiter, he said the 15-piece sub was €12 with no extra charge. The 30-piece sub is under €10?? Sir, if you can't even say hello, sigh at the slightest question, and don't even bother to smile, then don't work in customer service. I should point out that this is the third time we've had this experience with him. The so-called portions (already known to be tiny here) are ridiculously small (half a spoonful of chicken for a 30-piece sub). In short, avoid this place; the staff are partly bitter and probably frustrated with having to work the till at a Subway. Go to the one on Boulevard Lafayette in Calais.

28/07/2026: The room was extremely clean and the atmosphere was warm with excellent service.

27/07/2026: The food and chips were tiny, and the muffins and fries were missing. The toilets were in poor condition and dirty.

14/07/2026: Only 3 employees on a semi-final evening... of course... I placed my order online at 7 pm, to be picked up at 7:45 pm. When I arrived, other people were placing orders, and they were served before me! I picked up my order at 8:15 pm. There's no point in ordering in advance; you might as well order in person, it'll be faster and you'll seem to get priority. Too bad, up until then it wasn't bad...

07/07/2026: I was very disappointed with this order. I ordered a 4 Cheese pizza with a classic crust, with an extra crème fraîche base. When it arrived, the pizza was extremely dry. There was clearly no crème fraîche, just cheese on top and a completely dry center. I don't know if it was because of the lack of crème fraîche or if there was a problem with the dough, but the result was more like a thin crust than a classic one. My partner didn't fare any better. He ordered a Kick'N Spicy, which is supposed to have a tomato sauce base and Algerian sauce. Again, neither was present. The result: an equally dry and unappetizing pizza. Yes, it's Black Tuesday, but that's no excuse for sloppy orders. We ate them anyway because we weren't about to throw away €21.48, but frankly, they weren't good. A huge disappointment, we will not recommend it.

16/05/2026: The owner NEVER, EVER, EVER says hello. Sprite with a very weak shot of Aperol. Pizza burger without burger sauce. Ice cream made and left on the counter for over 10 minutes. Increasingly disappointing quality. For us, it was the last time.

11/05/2026: Disappointing food: poorly cleaned beef tongue, hot sauce reduced to a tomato coulis with tobacco. The French toast for dessert was limited to a slice of toasted brioche with a scoop of ice cream. The restrooms were barely clean. A point in favor of the waiter who did what he could.

26/07/2026: Very disappointed with the service and hygiene during the festival… it was like a canteen! The place wasn't clean, nor were the cutlery or dishes. There was food on the floor, kitchen utensils scattered all over the counter mixed with the food served to customers—in short, the management was completely disorganized and unprofessional. An unpleasant smell, and the waiter was barefoot… In short, the drinks weren't good either: a bland iced coffee and iced tea… €9. We rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case… avoid this place. Avignon has much better to offer.

24/07/2026: A delightful discovery at the festival! The food was fresh and delicious, the portions generous, and the atmosphere friendly. The staff were always smiling and attentive despite the crowds. We had a wonderful time and left feeling very satisfied!

14/06/2026: The terrace was full of delivery drivers sitting and smoking, and there was a smell of gasoline. We left halfway through our meal because they were starting to argue.

13/06/2026: Check your orders before you leave! > Very disappointed! I came to McDonald's with my daughter and ordered a bag of 9 nuggets… but there were only 4 in it! I waited in line for 5 minutes to point it out, then gave up because it was taking so long. Frankly, I'm very disappointed with the service and the lack of attention to the order.

31/01/2026: A very friendly welcome, lovely menus, a magnificent setting, and what's more, they accept our canine friends – we had a wonderful time!

04/01/2026: Really nice place. The staff does their best depending on how busy it is. The menus are very good. Ideal for having a good time there.

15/04/2026: 0/10 Regarding the welcome and service: I called this morning because we are hosting a Taiwanese delegation and would like each participant to leave with a Lyon specialty. Being familiar with VOISIN products, I called the République store in Lyon this morning, April 16, 2026, to get information on the different packaging options. I introduced myself on behalf of our association, and the person interrupted me, telling me to call headquarters for any sales calls and that I was calling a store... I replied that I was aware of this and that I had a purchase request. Without even apologizing, she asked me what I wanted. I hung up and called the Rue Grenette store, which provided me with excellent information and took my order. I have just read many very negative comments. It's pointless to say you're sorry for this behavior: do something about your staff; it's unacceptable that such awful people behave this way towards customers.

28/07/2026: We like to have a drink there when we're in the neighborhood. That day it was noon, and seeing the tempting plates our neighbors on the terrace were eating, we decided to have lunch there. We weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite! We ordered two roast beef fillets with pepper sauce and fries, and it was delicious! We have no complaints about the waiter, who was efficient. The restrooms were very clean. As for the price, it's reasonable. If I'm disappointed next time, I'll be sure to mention it.

19/07/2026: Two waiters were pushy with young women, an inappropriate attitude considering we just wanted to enjoy a pleasant moment and have a coffee. It's 2026, and despite it being a long-established business, some things need to change!

20/02/2026: The staff were welcoming and friendly, quick and efficient! And their fruit juices are excellent, I highly recommend them!
