12/09/2026: This bar has real potential to be a friendly place, especially its pleasant inner courtyard. It's a shame, however, that the service is so poor: the staff are unpleasant and have even resorted to shouting insults at some customers on several occasions. In short, a place with potential, but the customer service needs serious improvement.

15/04/2026: I came for the first time last year and it was great! I came Monday evening with my partner and nephew, and I was very disappointed. My nephew and I ordered 2XL tacos. In my memory, the 2XL was huge; I couldn't finish it... This time I finished it without any trouble. It wasn't very full, there was too much cheese sauce (it seemed like it was cut with sour cream), Bigburger sauce for me and barbecue sauce for my nephew—we weren't sure where they were. The ends of the tacos were much too thick, due to the lack of filling. It wasn't very hot. My partner ordered a plate with cordon bleu, which was cold, and the plate wasn't very full. She's not a big eater, and she was still hungry. It's a real shame; last year it was fantastic. I'm disappointed. Hygiene also unfortunately needs improvement. The tables weren't very clean, and what can I say about the toilets? "Disgusting" is an understatement, I think. In short, very disappointed. We didn't We'll probably not be back, or maybe we'll try again in a year to see...

04/08/2026: Unpleasant, even rude, boss. Told me my package hadn't arrived. Strangely, she's resending it today. Unreliable person. If she doesn't like her job or interacting with people, my advice is to retire.

18/07/2026: The owner always has a kind word, brightening the day. It's a good thing this bar exists for the villagers; it's a lovely place to chat and share gossip over a nice beer. Warm atmosphere.

18/09/2026: The campsite is open year-round, but you can't live there. What's the point then? Explain that to me! 😅

01/09/2026: The pool staff were rude to holidaymakers, their comments were poorly placed, and rules weren't followed. The pools closed at 5:30 PM, and they seemed bothered that people swam for half an hour before closing time. (Mr. Head of Pool Raclette)

22/09/2026: I wish to report an unacceptable incident that occurred on Saturday, September 11, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, at the Flunch restaurant in Caen Mondeville. As an honest customer who pays for my meal, I was deeply shocked by the complete lack of security and oversight in the establishment that evening. A group of about fifteen individuals carried out a blatant case of organized fraud: Modus operandi: Two young men (17-18 years old, wearing light jeans and black t-shirts) brought numerous members of their group directly into the buffet area through the exit door. Continuous food theft: Without ever paying at the register, they sat down and helped themselves repeatedly (plates of fries, overflowing rice, unlimited chicken tenders). They also took out dishes and food to feed at least seven of their accomplices seated on the terrace. They came and went from the restaurant with impunity. Major incidents: At one point, they actually grabbed two Flunch birthday cakes by entering through the exit. They then left with the establishment's rectangular white plates filled with food, never returning them. Logistics: The group traveled in three vehicles parked in the parking lot (a black Mercedes and two BMWs). Faced with this pack mentality, the customers didn't dare say anything. The staff on site, although very friendly and courageous, were completely overwhelmed and unable to react, allowing this massive fraud to unfold without any intervention. This situation is deeply unfair and disrespectful to paying customers. I hope management will review the security camera footage from that evening to identify the perpetrators. It is urgent to implement strict security measures to permanently block these fraudulent accesses through the buffet exit.

11/07/2026: This is what you call making money off the backs of fools... in the photo it's a tuna sandwich!!!! €5.50 for something disgusting like that... oh yeah, welcome to PAUL'S, the modern-day rip-off for ruthless Doro. Honestly, it's shameful to serve sandwiches like that... avoid at all costs

08/07/2026: I usually only leave reviews to express my satisfaction and highlight the strengths of the artisans and their products 😬 Today will be an exception. After ordering and paying for a strawberry vanilla Italian ice cream, one of the saleswomen prepared it for me: just a tiny bit of ice cream in the cone, barely a sliver, a paltry amount, nothing like Italian ice cream. Seeing my bewildered expression 😳, she said, "That's how it is here, ma'am." I should have taken a picture; at least it would have made people smile when reading my review, it was so surreal 🙄. This woman must be very unhappy for her behavior to be so unpleasant. I feel very sorry for her.

06/06/2026: The hotel is very well located, which is undoubtedly its main advantage and makes getting around easy. However, the rooms are very basic and, in my opinion, do not meet the expected standard of a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was also a disappointment. The selection is limited, especially for bread, with only baguettes and rusks. Offering Laughing Cow cheese lacks variety and quality for an establishment of this category. Finally, the staff is friendly and pleasant, but sometimes lacks energy. Overall, the location is a real strength, but several aspects could be improved to live up to a 3-star rating.

25/05/2026: Nice hotel, but the room... construction work wasn't finished around the front door. Good breakfast. Very pleasant setting and in the city center.

08/07/2026: Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We arrived at 5 pm with our two children (4 years old and 1 year old), in 39°C heat. What a disappointment to find a dirty bungalow, requiring a complete cleaning from me instead of being able to enjoy the pool with my family! But the most absurd thing, in my opinion, was finding a refrigerator that wasn't plugged in. No real solution was offered, other than: "Sorry, it was an oversight" or "Put some water bottles in the freezer (which wasn't cold yet), then in the refrigerator to speed up the cooling process." A great idea, but in the meantime, what am I supposed to do with all my fresh produce? We also noticed that no entertainment was offered on Saturday evening. Aside from these issues, the campsite is pleasant: the pool is very nice and there are several children's play areas spread throughout the grounds. Living nearby, we wanted to try out the campsite with the hope of returning regularly. Unfortunately, this experience convinced us otherwise: we won't be back.

03/07/2026: We had a fantastic week. The mobile home was clean and very well located with a view of the valley. The staff, both at the campsite and the restaurant, were very friendly and responsive. The water park is amazing!!! The only downside was that we lost the pétanque tournament 😂 The campsite is well-maintained. We highly recommend this campsite and we'll be back in September 👍

18/09/2026: Disappointing last meal of our holiday. The two menu items I wanted were off, so had the burger. Waitress was lovely though. It was very quiet with only two other customers.

12/09/2026: The cooking is unambitious. It's filling. They could put more effort into the preparation. The chevre comes pre-cut from the freezer and is heated up. It could be better.

12/09/2026: The baguettes are noticeably too small, and a price adjustment is necessary to compensate for this. Otherwise, the quality of service remains entirely satisfactory.

11/09/2026: We had some sandwiches. Nice size and well filled.

21/09/2026: A very pleasant visit, at our own pace, a step-by-step discovery. A warm welcome from the staff, a passionate and attentive keeper. A special moment with an adorable 4-year-old python. Not to mention the time spent around the touch tanks petting the carp. An aquarium to visit again and again.

18/09/2026: Disappointing to see fish packed inside small tanks that also looked very unhealthy, the glass is so dirty you can hardly see the fish. Tiny enclosure areas for the alligators. A very dull, boring and very expensive aquarium and would not recommend

02/09/2026: The welcome was very cold, with the impression that we were bothering them even though there weren't many people there. We weren't satisfied with the taste of the food and our drinks weren't served even though we ordered them.

06/08/2026: A must-do! Plus, there's an electric charger in the restaurant's parking lot, provided by the owner. Excellent!

16/09/2026: Appalling welcome and mediocre food, avoid at all costs! Unpleasant service from start to finish. The manager made completely inappropriate remarks ("people eat here in an hour" to imply we should hurry up) and rushed the service as soon as we said we didn't want wok dishes. The food wasn't any better: the sushi was bad, with completely over-ground and overcooked rice. The dining room was practically empty, and given the owner's lack of respect and the poor quality of the food, it's easy to see why. I will never set foot in this place again. "I raided the buffet," he said. I ate potatoes, a little meat, and some sauce, lol. If you call that raiding a buffet... Your food is not good at all. You should have looked at your rubbish bins, I hardly ate anything 🤣🤣 Oh dear, when you're acting in bad faith... Not once do you question your behavior towards your customers.
