02/07/2026: We went into a shop where it was warmer than outside (it was July...). €2.80 for 10 choux pastries—well, choux pastries in name only, because these were as hard as rocks... I won't even mention the size or shape, because some of them looked like they'd already been chewed. The saleswoman—I wouldn't dare call her a baker—was about as friendly and welcoming as a morgue attendant. Avoid at all costs. Visited July 2nd at 3 PM

02/07/2026: We ordered a tuna sandwich and a ham sandwich, and we both got stomach aches. There were flies in the shop and on the pizzas. The tuna was brown in some of the sandwiches, and even though I specifically asked for it, I still got sick. I don't recommend it.

16/07/2026: Well, I completely disagree!!! We went for lunch today and were definitely not disappointed. The setting is very pleasant. It's true that one of the two gentlemen is a little less smiley, but certainly not unpleasant either!! We had mussels, and although they weren't French, they were good and well-cooked. The fish was very good and beautifully presented!! For the price, it's unbeatable!!! Thank you to the whole team... from the Burgundians!

25/06/2026: We went for dinner at the end of June 2026. Utterly disappointing!!!! The welcome was quite cold. There were only two tables, even though we were there. We ordered à la carte; the mussels were okay, but the skate wing was really lacking in garnish. The desserts were rushed through and weren't anything special either. Honestly, the prices are high for the dishes served, and above all, the staff isn't welcoming or friendly. The two men there just wanted us to pay and leave. There must be better places in Port-en-Bessin.

31/05/2026: I've been eating there for years and everything was fine until now. But this was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. The meat was disgusting. I couldn't finish it.

02/06/2026: Intimate setting overlooking the old port, a family atmosphere, and tasty traditional dishes at reasonable prices. Impeccable service, the waiter was prompt, very kind, friendly, and attentive. I went there with my family; my 7- and 14-year-old daughters also enjoyed it, and we'll definitely be back.

01/04/2026: The service was horrible, we waited almost 2 hours to get our food, there was a lack of seasoning in the pasta and the shrimp was raw, 7€ for a Coca Cola, the mussels are served with unseasoned McDonald’s fries.

28/02/2026: Service needs improvement... Today's waitress started serving us, then stopped in the middle of serving the two people behind us because she knew them... So while she was serving them, chatting with them, and taking their payment, we waited...

11/04/2026: Disappointed. I wanted to get a sandwich for lunch. I asked the cashier about a sandwich that was displayed in the window. He told me it was a chicken sandwich, but when I tasted it, it was beef. Furthermore, I asked for the sandwich to be heated, and it was served to me ice cold.

29/07/2026: Honestly, it was fine for the night, not too noisy despite being close to the road.

24/07/2026: On July 23, 2026, the housekeeping service was very professional. I've been at the hotel for about 10 days, and this is the first time I've found the cleaning done so differently and perfectly. I recommend reviewing the service and keeping the employees responsible after the checks. The receptionist was a very kind man. The hotel is truly excellent value for money.

21/05/2026: We come here at least once a month and often with our child. An old restaurant (I was a young child when it opened!!), which has a nice Japanese decor with cheesy music. It is on a side street too so on warmer days they open the windows which is nice. The sushi is very good, their brochettes are excellent, and surprisingly their ramen (which isn't really their speciality) is delicious and not expensive (take in mind the place has multiple ramen places surrounding it). I read about the cold service here, for me it's the charm, there is a very friendly person who cuts the fish when you come in, an older man who doesn't smile nor speak much who serves you (I saw him smile once, I did!), a lady who is extremely friendly but isn't there often, and the owner who is very nice and tolerant also with our child who can run wild sometimes after eating. My single gripe is it can be pricey for some things you order. This is our go to place for sushi, Roquette has so much choice for Asian cuisine, this place is one of the first and still one of the best.

25/06/2026: Cold fries, the bread was falling apart, the meat was overcooked, I couldn't even finish it…

08/06/2026: Personally, I only have one question. What kind of restaurant serves a kebab on paper plates? Especially for 14 euros. The kebab. Without a drink. A little respect for your customers would be appreciated. In this case, proper plates. Not cardboard ones.

07/06/2026: I set the rating to 4 by default to stay within the existing average (which seems high considering what I was served) because I ordered through Uber Eats. My order was swimming in sauce (even though I specified "with minimal sauce") and it was sickeningly bad and inedible. I ordered three dishes, two of them different, and all three had the same major problem... The breaded chicken was soggy, so I should have checked the reviews before ordering; I regret it. I see this isn't the first time and apparently the service often leaves much to be desired, so be warned, I'm going to give them bad publicity. (Not to mention the extras that weren't what I ordered—in short, a complete disaster. I'm going to cook for myself.)

24/05/2026: I arrived just as they were closing, and they offered me a few extra kebabs on top of my order to prevent them from going to waste. So that definitely deserved a positive review!

04/05/2026: I'm rarely so disappointed. Not all prices were displayed, the selection was very limited, the cookies were overcooked and sold at the regular price. I wanted to eat in: no napkins, no cutlery, cardboard "tableware," construction work was being done in the shop in broad daylight while customers were eating there, and the tray was carelessly thrown about. The saleswoman was barely friendly and not very welcoming, and she wasn't very customer-oriented (no menu or special offers were presented). My dessert was tasteless and dry. My sandwich was small for the price. The dining area, however, was pleasant and enjoyable. The storefront is a sorry sight. I was served quickly.

27/04/2026: Great bakery, the saleswoman is very pleasant and the cookies are excellent.

26/07/2026: The food was just okay, worse than what you'd expect from McDonald's (at least in Germany). We had to wait quite a while for our order. The whole place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it was built: dirt on the counter, everything greasy, some of the tiles have holes, and the floor is sticky with every step. There's no display showing when orders are ready. All in all, not recommended unless absolutely necessary.

26/07/2026: If you enjoy waiting 20 minutes for absolutely bland, dry, and unsalted fries, even when there are hardly any customers, then this is the place for you. I've never once lost my appetite after three fries at McDonald's, but maybe this is an attempt to wean people off fast food. It seems to have worked. I can't comment on the vegetarian burgers, because they don't offer them. Instead, you'll find sticky floors, broken soap dispensers, and grimy walls. Best to avoid.
