09/06/2026: Renaud Darmanin is passionate, and it shows. The menu is more local than ever (you don't forget your roots that easily): the vegetables come from the garden, and the suppliers are all nearby. That evening, we had asparagus from a local producer and a divine bisque, as well as melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a reduced jus, not to mention a truffle-infused bone marrow that was simply divine. And on top of that, the service is impeccable. Head straight to Marcolès!

A gourmet restaurant that showcases the finest local produce; each dish transported us, served by a warm and professional team.

09/12/2025: A brasserie-style restaurant with one of the best value-for-money ratios in the neighborhood. The dishes are very good, beautifully presented, and made with quality ingredients. The welcome is very friendly, and the staff is very efficient. I recommend booking for lunch, as the restaurant is very popular (and that's a good thing). I often return with pleasure.

19/05/2026: The owner was super friendly. I ordered takeout, but when I got home there was only one steak instead of two. I called, and they immediately offered to let me pick up another hamburger, and they even let me keep the one I already had. As a bonus for coming out, I received a chocolate fondant.
The team is professional and very friendly; I highly recommend them. Fresh ingredients and homemade fries.

It's worth the trip, less than 10 minutes from Prades.

28/05/2026: Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The location is 5min walk from the train station, and 5min walk to the central area of Aix. It’s definitely located in a quiet area, but there’s a pharmacy, convenience store, and bakery right across the street. The pool was a nice touch for the hot days there.
27/05/2026: A truly lovely hotel with very friendly staff.
Ideally located just steps from the center of Aix-en-Provence.
The restaurant is also very good.

The ingredients are fresh and high-quality.
The portions are generous despite the thin-crust pizza.
The restaurant is small but cozy.
However,
it's hard to get a smile from the staff…
And the service is slow for lunchtime.
Reservations are essential!
12/05/2026: The food was very tasty, well presented and speedily served. Very friendly staff.
I would just caution that staff check for allergies before bringing the small bowl of peanuts to the table. It wasn't a problem for us, but some people have a serious peanut allergy.

The food was truly delicious and the dishes were beautifully presented. Excellent value for money.
