17/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! LACK OF HYGIENE!!! I was sick for a week after having a milkshake there (headache, fever, severe diarrhea), a bacterial infection that had to be treated with antibiotics. And clearly linked to the milkshake! Never again!!!!! And to top it all off: 20 minutes to get this supposedly infested milkshake! A disrespectful and dishonest waitress: when I politely asked her what the problem was given my wait time, she curtly replied that she serves customers in order of arrival and that "you have to be patient." And when I pointed out that everyone who had been served before me in the last 15 minutes arrived well after me, she replied: "Milkshakes take longer!" Finally, they made me the infamous milkshake in a rather unsavory blender. In the end, the drink was barely lukewarm, just a simple milkshake, no ice cream in it. It really didn't deserve the unpleasantness that followed!

21/05/2026: Ridiculous food, a mere centimeter of cream in the crispy rolls (photo attached), you might as well get a decent croissant from a bakery. The strawberry tea in the €5.50 set menu is ridiculously bad, it's literally just watered-down syrup, nothing more. I absolutely do not recommend it. To top it all off, the muffin is completely bland and overpriced for what it is, with very little raspberry and white chocolate. They're real cheapskates! Avoid at all costs!! P.S.: The blaring music is the highlight; you can't tell if it's a nightclub or a place to relax.

18/07/2026: The service and food here is the worst of any subway I have ever been to, avoid. The salad ingredients were turning brown, the food prep areas were unhygienic, the chopping boards were old and marked and discoloured, bacteria would easily multiply in these. Seating area was ok . Food was rung up as the wrong type of sub and as salami was missing bacon was added without asking, serving staff didn't say a word and was extremely disinterested. I have concerns about this particular subway for both allergies and food hygiene.

15/07/2026: It was good, but the service last night was really mediocre. We don't know Subway very well, we hesitated over the items, and the person didn't bother to give us any advice, instead just being impatient.

02/08/2026: We went for the set menu, which costs almost €30, and we were very disappointed. The portion sizes are ridiculous. If you order eggs, they literally serve you a single egg cut in half. If you choose the prawns, they give you only three, just a handful, grilled. Furthermore, they serve tap water, which is surprising considering the price of the set menu. The second course was slightly better in terms of quantity, but the food arrived burnt, which only worsened the experience. In short, very poor value for money. For almost €30, I expected a generous and well-prepared meal, not to leave feeling like I'd paid a lot for very little and very bad food. A rather disappointing experience.

02/08/2026: Average. The service was very slow, 45 minutes between courses. The fries were too dry. The rest was good. The welcome was good, the staff friendly, but surely overwhelmed.

25/05/2026: The pain au chocolat is mass-produced at €1.70 and the espresso is quite expensive at €2.20. At that price, I would have at least appreciated not having to serve myself: bringing my own coffee and clearing the table.

12/04/2026: We went in just for a coffee. The price was outrageous considering I ordered at the counter, brought the coffee to the table without a saucer, and then had to return the cups in their crate of dirty dishes. Avoid this place; it's no longer the Croix-Rousse spirit.

24/07/2026: I've had delivery twice. Both times the fries were cold and dry. And this time, in addition to the fries, my 280 (presumably a type of sandwich) is cold, even though the restaurant is 10 minutes from my house and the delivery driver was in a car.

16/07/2026: When you go to a restaurant, first go to the restroom; if it smells bad, turn around and leave because the dishes will be dirty. This applies to all restaurants in France.

22/07/2026: This place is iconic in Rouen, and as far as I'm concerned, I've never been disappointed. Tonight I ordered delivery. The delivery time was perfectly respected, and the driver carefully checked that the price on the receipt matched the price on the card reader. I ordered a set menu with beef and cheese skewers, salmon, tuna, avocado tartare with rice, sashimi, and maki. It was delicious, especially the tartare with the spicy mayo—the spice was just right. I'll definitely order again as soon as my craving for fresh, raw fish strikes.

04/05/2026: Hotel with rooms for solo travelers. Spacious room with a single bed and a large shower room. Friendly staff and 24-hour reception.

15/04/2026: This hotel is a disgrace. I don't understand how it can have four stars; it's a one-star hotel at best. It's dirty, unprofessional, needs a complete renovation, and they serve you yesterday's stale breakfast...

12/07/2026: I wanted to share this opinion because I find that the negative aspects are often highlighted while the positive ones are overlooked. I thank the entire team for their professionalism and their warm welcome every day. I come to this restaurant very regularly and I am always greeted with a smile and in a pleasant atmosphere. I would especially like to thank their hostess, Fedoua, who is a true ray of sunshine. Always smiling, kind, and attentive, she demonstrates great professionalism.

12/07/2026: A nightmare! The staff are very willing, but there aren't enough of them, and they're running around like crazy. Long waits and constant, constant mistakes. Tonight, I came home with veggie nuggets instead of the chicken nuggets I ordered... plus there was an error in the children's menu book. Note to management: this problem is recurring, the employees are under pressure and have to deal with customer dissatisfaction.

28/06/2026: The staff were unwelcoming, we were really bothering them... And it was 7:30 pm. As for the very expensive pizzas (€15) for just dough and grated cheese, we had to look for the other ingredients. A real tourist trap.

15/06/2026: We didn't try the hotel, only the restaurant. The food was generous, with a very affordable and varied daily menu. The service was quick, and the restaurant's location is ideal, situated on the road to Fontenay Abbey. The waitress was very kind and attentive to her customers.

15/06/2026: A man who's afraid of motorcyclists. We stopped in front of his establishment for coffee, but before we could even get off our bikes, he came out and closed the door. And in the rearview mirror, we saw him reopen his establishment. What a surreal experience!

11/07/2026: Avoid this place! The pizza was really mediocre, the staff were unfriendly, very disappointed.

10/07/2026: We've been loyal Pizza Lambada customers for years, and we've recommended them. They made a mistake with the toppings on one of our pizzas, so we called them back to get the correct pizza delivered an hour later. But in the end, they refused to give us the new pizza because we'd given them the wrong one! Frankly, this is truly despicable behavior. We'll never order from them again! Very disappointed!

11/07/2026: This is an amazing place if you look for cheap but great food and service. It's not a 5-star restaurant, but for the price it's incredible. Especially for Paris.

31/05/2026: Hello, 3 tacos last night = 3 people sick a few hours later!! Food poisoning... The meat and fries were really bad!! A place to avoid and which deserves a health inspection!!!
