05/09/2026: €15.90 For a meal without a drink. No sauces available except mustard… The fries are soggy and barely lukewarm. The burger is average. €3.90 for a 33cl Coke after the deposit. €2.60 for a coffee. That's outrageous. Avoid this place.

20/09/2026: This comment echoes previous ones: A customer for 15-20 years, I'm dissatisfied with the current service. Prices are increasing, certainly, but the quality and quantity are decreasing. The griddle was completely burnt and not cleaned or scraped regularly. The fries were soggy and greasy, brown/black in color. Where are the crispy, white, fresh fries you find elsewhere? The burgers/meats were prepared too quickly compared to the fries, meaning they were lukewarm when the fries arrived. The quantity of fries has been reduced, the sauce container was only half full, and so on… A shame for such a good restaurant in the Lille metropolitan area.

15/09/2026: The authentic chip shop isn't what it used to be 😓 Long waits, confused employees, and a noticeable drop in quality for months now. It's time to find a new chip shop.

12/09/2026: Getting worse and worse, 30 minutes to be served even though there's no one there. Something's always missing.

12/09/2026: Order placed today, waited over 30 minutes, toys for the children's menu (which we paid for) were missing, as well as fries. I called to report the problem, but they couldn't do anything. I find this unacceptable. A gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated.

08/09/2026: As a local, I used to enjoy going to La Palette, but in recent years, the value for money has really declined. There were no sides with the burger or the avocado toast, the coffee was mediocre, and the desserts looked like they were from the day before. The Italian platter, which I personally found good, was a bit of a saving grace (though at 40 euros, it's not cheap). But what definitively dissuaded me from going back was that last time, a waiter rather aggressively pressured me to leave a tip: my bill was around 70 euros, and he said, "Shall we make it 80?" So, I was happy to leave a tip, but then... a 45-minute wait, with "regulars" being served; I had to ask several times for bread... No thanks, I'm definitely done with them.

31/08/2026: Way too expensive. I asked if they had cakes, the waiter went to check, said there was only éclair left, so I ordered that. When asked, the neighbors got tarte tatin instead. The éclair was €13…

20/09/2026: First visit to Bowling Stadium in Franconville. We had a great time with friends and played two games. We experienced several technical issues on lane 11, particularly with the ball return and pin reset. The staff eventually transferred us to lane 12, keeping our scores, which was much appreciated. The atmosphere was quite noisy, but overall, the experience was positive.

20/09/2026: I was there on a Saturday afternoon, and first of all, the entrance looks like a nightclub, and the LOUD music makes you wonder. Once inside, the entrance isn't bad, but there are a lot of SHOUTING children, plus the music. It's a real ear-splitting experience... quite a shame for this part of the place. For me, this place is better suited for children and birthday parties, since that's all they do. For parents, there's the pool table area, which is good but poorly maintained. Conclusion: It's good for children.

28/09/2026: The pastries were lovely, light, and not too sweet. The blueberry in the Mont Blanc was a nice touch, as were the cola iced tea and the pine nut croissant. The viennoiseries were good but very buttery. The waitresses were lovely but overwhelmed, resulting in long waits and empty shelves. It's a tea room where you can eat in.

28/08/2026: A Parisian bistro where you can still get an espresso at the counter for a reasonable price. Efficient waiters, tray in hand and cell phone in the cloakroom. The REAL Paris we love.

22/08/2026: The waiter sighed when we asked for the menu. Worst bar experience in Saint-Lazare!! I've been to almost every bar around here, but this one, besides being outrageously expensive for nothing (yes, because a hot chocolate made without chocolate for €5 is insane), has appalling service! The waiter who was supposed to serve us, but then passed the task on to his colleague, came back after a few minutes. We had a wasp at our table, he told us to calm down, and then made fun of our male friend, whom he was pretending to be a "woman," saying it out loud in front of the other customers!! Run away unless you enjoy being humiliated!

16/09/2026: I live in Luxembourg and come to France about once a month. This is a Chinese buffet that I always eat at, and I'm very satisfied; at this price, I don't have any other requirements.

27/09/2026: Avoid like the plague Came here tonight. Only 2 starters, 3 main courses available. Oh yes, and they had 2 old steak haché and a single bavette. No regular menu. The starters were pathetic. The lamb kebabs were miniscule, tiny tiny portions. I opted for the toulouse sausage. 1 small sausage and fries for 14€. They even apparently ran out of dessert. Honté. 2 staff for the whole floor. If you don't want to open on a sunday, then don't. But this kind of pathetic attempt to service a hotel is shameful. Left hungry and will never be back. Shame, because Courtpaille has previously been reliable. Not now.

20/07/2026: It's a tobacconist's where people smoke inside, and not just cigarettes. It's dark and poorly maintained.

09/06/2026: New to Marseille, I discovered this tobacconist, which is the closest to my home. The manager (or at least the gentleman who's always there) is incredibly kind! He made me a regular from my very first visit and gave me a proper welcome! Thanks a lot!
