Despite the ideal location, my dish was more than mediocre. €18 for a salad made of wilted lettuce (which, by the way, represents 60% of the dish, since it's a salad!!!) and missing essential ingredients clearly listed on the menu (I'm not imagining things). I mentioned this to the waitress, but apparently there was no reason for the kitchen to rectify the situation, as they didn't bring me the missing items or even offer me a free coffee. On the other hand, they happily charged me full price for having received only 50% of my order... the bottom line is, a lunch that left a bitter taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. A rather unpleasant experience...

04/09/2026: We had a lovely lunch at the riverside café. Pleasant setting, not too crowded, perfectly cooked flank steak, and a friendly waiter (Thierry). Excellent!

17/08/2026: We expected a nicer café at Galeries Lafayette. Dirty tables, self-service with a queue, and a very noisy atmosphere. It looks like a cheap cafeteria. We left. Paris has so many lovely cafés; there's no need to put up with that.
