19/09/2026: What a delightful surprise this 8-course menu with its perfect wine pairings was! The sommelier described each glass he served with precision. It was a true pleasure. Everyone was so attentive, which was very pleasant without being intrusive. Admittedly, this isn't something everyone experiences, but it feels wonderful to treat yourself and enjoy such an experience. Bravo!

31/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Auberge des Matfeux. It had been a few years since our last visit. The quality of the ingredients, the impeccable service, and the wine list are still top-notch. However, and I know this is certainly not the restaurant's philosophy, I would have liked a few more surprises and to be challenged a bit more by the chef's cuisine. While the flavors are well-balanced, I didn't find any bold or impactful tastes. I think I might not be the target audience, but I appreciate it when food evokes a bit more emotion.

We only intended to dine there once, but after that first meal, we couldn't wait to go back! So we returned the next day to try the fish soup the chef had told us about the day before. A simple dish, but completely transformed... The staff is simply outstanding and makes you feel right at home while being perfectly attentive to your needs. Go without hesitation, but with your taste buds open.
