17/11/2024: We have been coming here on and off for about 14 years. They are only open at lunch time now. Came for several Sunday lunches this year. Be prepared to eat a lot. The menu is luxurious with several dishes centred around duck foie gras. All reared and made on site. Main courses are duck or beef (all reared and butchered on site). No vegetarian options. The quality of the food is excellent and service is charming and leisurely - this is France so allow at least 2 hours for lunch. For value for money go for the Menu Gauvry (€38.50) for which you get 4 courses, all generous portions, including up to two with generous amounts of foie gras and a main of duck breast or steak with chips (cooked in duck fat of course), shallots and salad. A chance to sample real French country cooking. Best to book for Sunday lunch as it's usually very busy. Highly recommended.

The César really good and refreshing after a walk in Toulon, a cozy, friendly place, very good service with a pretty and air-conditioned room, useful in August. 13/08/2024: What a lovely surprise! My partner wanted to go to a polish restaurant to show me the typical food of his country and we found this one. The waitress was super nice and the food was spectacular.

03/07/2024: A very good Polish restaurant (better than many tried even in Poland), for a reasonable price. We eat well in summer and winter, we drink well, and the staff is friendly. Surprise: Polish food can be light too. To try!

03/09/2024: a very good discovery with an excellent meal with varied flavors and a jovial and pleasant restaurateur couple. The menu is not very extensive but it is a guarantee of freshness and monitoring of the seasons. Attention reservation required because it is so good that we will come back!!!!

12/09/2024: Kebabs de qualité, cuisson nikel ,copieux , toujours bien accueilli. bien veillant. Nous prenons toujours le maxi kebab et ne sommes jamais déçus Broche non industrielle,pain a kebab et non baguette ... Je vous le recommande

03/09/2024: Un rendez-vous avec mon amie Mireille à ne jamais manquer. Il m'arrive aussi d'y aller toute seule. Commande à emporter. Ont essayent de venir une fois par semaine. Pour le cadre, la propreté, la qualité, les prix. Ce joli et merveilleux couple qui ce fait une joie de vous accueillir dans leur établissement. Merci pour votre gentillesse et qualité. 23/09/2024: Restaurant de centre ville très accueillant une carte simple qui propose que des produits frais les moules frites succulentes et en quantité frites maison. Le burger au poulet cuit à basse température est succulent très peu de dessert il faut les commander à la prise de commande Ce restaurant devient pour moi une référence aux Herbiers

04/08/2024: Restaurant with gourmet menus, everything is good, beautiful, perfectly spiced. Warm and friendly welcome. Perfect service. Extensive and quality wine list with local and foreign wines. Car park. We come back frequently, the dishes are regularly changed. A real pleasure .

11/11/2024: Très beau restaurant typique ch’ti !!! Venant moi même du Nord, j’ai beaucoup apprécié ce moment qui était une parenthèse géographique, temporelle et culinaire Plats de bonnes qualité, proportions très bien Je recommande Le personnel est très gentil venant eux mêmes du Nord !

22/06/2025: This is my favorite French restaurant on the border of Basel. There are new dishes every season, and the chef is quite creative. I will never make a mistake.

21/08/2024: What can I say except that we took a beating, those around me go there every year but for me it was the first time. Every part of the meal is pure sweetness filled with tonic, I highly recommend it and will obviously return next year
