25/09/2024: Je ne comprend pas tous les commentaires négatifs formules sur cet établissement. Voilà au minimum 6 fois que je me rend en ce lieu, ou je suis maso ou les commentaires que j'ai pu lire ne sont là que pour discrédité cet etablissement. J'ai toujours été bien reçu, les plats sont servis généreusement et sont bien cuisinés, les fruits de mer sont frais et bons et je peux dire, contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire, personne dans mon entourage a été malade. La cuisine est traditionnelle, sans chichi, le personnel est sympathique et à l'écoute, le cadre un peu vieillot reste dans la tradition familiale. Maintenant chacun a le droit de donner son avis, mais doit rester honnete, c'est pour cela que j'ai rédigé celui ci en toute honnêteté et sans intérêt, car j'ai été assez choque par ce que j'ai pu lire. Sans aucun doute, je retournerai dans cet établissement.

02/04/2026: A very disappointing experience. The address 77 Rue du Faubourg du Temple, 75010 Paris, is primarily known for housing L’Étage du Gibus, yet the venue is listed here under the name Canela, even though it only hosts one event per week. This presentation is completely misleading for customers who might expect a specific location. The service was poor from beginning to end. The person presenting themselves as the manager, wearing glasses and also acting as the DJ, behaved in a completely unprofessional manner, making persistent advances toward some of the women in our group. After we rejected these advances, their attitude became authoritarian and unpleasant. We were also surprised to be required to pay for the cloakroom during a screening of a Colombian football match, without any clear prior notification, which we found clearly unfair. In view of this experience and the practices observed, it would be desirable for a real change in the management and supervision of evenings to be put in place in order to ensure a respectful and transparent welcome for customers.

11/11/2025: I found a paper in my beer for 10 euro ,and i waited 45 min for another beer. SHAME YOU!!!!!

08/08/2024: La cuisine est très bonne mais malheureusement les serveurs oublient le client… pas une fois, ni même deux, mais trois fois au cours d’un repas… Ça gâche…

29/08/2024: c'était mon restaurant préféré ! Nous sommes allé y diner en famille pour le jour de mon mariage, très mauvais , j ai connu des cantines de routier meilleure et surtout plus sympathique, à part un jeune serveur qui s'est montré aimable avec nous, on a été aussi bien traité que dans une gare de marchandise ! Cela aurait pu passer si la nourriture avait été un minimum convenable, je ne suis vraiment pas une grande cuisinière et ben eux , ils arrivent à cuisiner plus mal que moi !

29/08/2024: We’ve lived in the area for a long time and have been to this restaurant many times with other members of our family. We always thought it was an ok place for reasonable meal…… nothing amazing but fairly reliable. On this occasion we were meeting someone else for lunch but we were the first to arrive for the reservation. We speak pretty good French but still have a bit of a English accent. The waiter seemed very busy and it took quite a while until we were able to ask for a drink. As I was driving and had planned on having a glass of wine with my meal I asked first if they had any low or alcoholic beer….unfortunately the verbal abuse that we received from the waiter was discriminating and quite shocking. He snarled at us and retorted that in the Charente ‘we only drink alcohol ‘ Apparently simply asking if they happened to have a non alcoholic beer was reason to be incredibly rude and patronising to customers who he obviously assumed to be tourists. We would have left at that point but as I said we were waiting for someone….the setting outside is lovely , the food is fairly average and not particularly good value but worst of all the waiter’s attitude was really quite unpleasant.

31/08/2024: Tre déçue : Personnel très sympa, mais j’ai été hallucinée du poisson du jour annoncé qui s’est avéré être un filet de daurade picard !! ( je les connais particulièrement bien car j’en consomme plusieurs fois par semaine, ils sont calibrés d’une manière facilement identifiable) .. honteux

19/08/2024: Un endroit où il faut absolument mangé à Avignon. Super moment avec des serveurs et serveuses au TOP, très attentionnée envers leurs clients, et le patron également. Une cuisine très soignée et succulentes. MERCI à tous et un petit clin d’œil à TOTO. ps: notre chien VASCO vous remercie également de l’attention que vous lui avez porté.

24/11/2024: Une carte aussi sympathique que l'accueil .bravo et merci. Ambiance conviviale et souriante. Des jolies planches garnies. Des desserts bons et maison. Les maître mots d'un repas Dominicale réussi.

23/11/2024: Très bon accueil, serveurs très gentils. service rapide et efficace Cadre et déco sympas burgers et tartare de thon très bons et très bien présentés !

20/12/2023: Restaurant à l'ambiance cosy, accueillant et le servie agréable. La cuisine italienne est très bonne, mention spéciale pour le tiramisu pistache/framboise.

16/04/2024: Cadre agréable mais question Pizza rien de terrible. Pauvre en garnitures et pâte pas cuite on pouvait s attendre à mieux vis à vis des commentaires.. Perso je n’y retournerai pas.

16/12/2024: We were in the area looking for a place to have lunch and found this place, which was OK looking from the outside but not anything special. As it was cold, nobody was outside but on entering and going through some drapes, the restaurant was warm, cozy and buzzing with people having lunch. The menu looked great so we got a table and ordered and the food that arrived was absolutely delicious, and complimented by some local wine. Service was great, despite being busy we didn't wait a long time and our server was friendly and helpful. Prices reflected the quality of the food I would say, and I would happily go here again

03/12/2024: Une belle adresse un petit peu à l'écart de la foule de touristes. Accueil toujours aimable et souriant, un cadre tout à fait charmant, une cuisine très bien maîtrisée et regionale. Un service à la hauteur, rapide, pro, attentionné et tout sourire. Merci à vous.
