05/03/2026: The pros: magical location, cleanliness, and the service, which has improved considerably this year. The cons: the food: firstly, it's a self-service restaurant, and secondly, the food selection is basic, incomparable to most mountain restaurants in Megève—for example—yet the prices reflect those of mountain restaurants. That said, the food is quite well cooked, coffee aside. Note a comment made today to an English-speaking customer: the manager is anti-Trump to the point of boycotting Coca-Cola. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even to the point of missing Khamenei, but it seems to me that in business, one should refrain from sharing it.

19/08/2026: As a regular McDonald’s customer, placing 2 to 3 orders per week for a couple and a child, I would like to report a recurring problem. During our last order at the McDonald’s in Waziers, we paid extra for a figurine, but it was missing from our bag. We recently encountered the exact same situation at the McDonald’s in Orchies: the extra charge was processed, but the figurine was missing. An occasional oversight can obviously happen. However, when this happens repeatedly at several restaurants with the same type of paid item, it primarily reveals a lack of quality control during order preparation and delivery. Given our order frequency, this is not a reaction to a single bad experience. When a customer specifically pays extra for an item, it is reasonable to expect it to be in their bag, without having to systematically check their order in the parking lot. Therefore, more rigorous verification of paid promotional items is necessary. EDIT following the response from the McDonald’s in Orchies: I would like to clarify that my comment was primarily intended to report this issue so that it could be identified and corrected, and not to specifically blame the Orchies restaurant. The fact that I encountered the same problem in Waziers demonstrates that it doesn't seem to be specific to any one location. I therefore thank the McDonald’s in Orchies for taking the time to respond and consider my feedback. In light of their response and their approach, I am revising my overall rating to 3 stars. I simply hope that this report will lead to stricter controls so that this recurring problem with extra-pay items is truly resolved.

22/08/2026: An unpleasant waiter who left because we weren't ordering fast enough, and then stormed off in the middle of our order. Completely unpolite, clearly acting like he was at his mother's house. Sticky menu and the table was barely wiped; even a McDonald's is cleaner after an hour's wait.

09/07/2026: All the breads, especially the wholemeal bread, are far too overcooked (too dry) since it reopened. We don't know why. Even when ordering and specifying "can you make me a wholemeal loaf that isn't too cooked," when you arrive to pick up your order and find that your wholemeal bread is almost burnt?! I won't be going back. It's a shame because before it closed, the wholemeal bread was very soft and not overcooked. What a pity!

18/05/2026: I should clarify that this review has been modified; it originally praised this bakery. However, since its closure for health reasons several months ago, prices have increased while portions are smaller than before. Furthermore, I've twice found a hair trapped in pastries (after the shop reopened), and last year a large dead blue fly stuck to the bottom of a slice of fruit tart. Aside from that, I repeat, the products offered are very good and of high quality (excellent pastries, a good variety of breads, and the same goes for the sandwiches and quiches; there are also generous bags of day-old pastries sold for between €1.50 and €2.50), even if the management of this business seems rather poor (a swarm of wasps for at least one summer in all the display cases, and a previously very high staff turnover). In addition, the saleswoman is cold and unwelcoming. This is regrettable as I am a regular customer.

11/09/2026: Catastrophic. The reception was unlike anything I've ever experienced from a woman on the evening of September 10th. Extremely unpleasant, not even a greeting, and an immediately aggressive tone. Avoid at all costs.

10/09/2026: The food was just okay, nothing special. The elderly woman serving us was extremely unpleasant; she didn't even say hello, and when we asked her about the dishes, she gave half-hearted answers and told us to get lost if we didn't like them. Avoid at all costs!

11/07/2026: Avoid this place! The pizza was really mediocre, the staff were unfriendly, very disappointed.

10/07/2026: We've been loyal Pizza Lambada customers for years, and we've recommended them. They made a mistake with the toppings on one of our pizzas, so we called them back to get the correct pizza delivered an hour later. But in the end, they refused to give us the new pizza because we'd given them the wrong one! Frankly, this is truly despicable behavior. We'll never order from them again! Very disappointed!

15/09/2026: I bought this sandwich on Monday morning; it was tasteless, like cardboard, and definitely from Saturday, bought at a premium price! Shameful!

14/08/2026: The vendor was unpleasant and rushed, even though there was no one else there. He served a ham and butter sandwich on stale bread. It's shameful to serve that kind of sandwich. The pretzel with stale cheese was so bad it would break a tooth!! Friday, August 14th at 12:00 PM…

01/09/2026: Absolutely terrible! There's a guy at the restaurant who has no respect whatsoever. He made me a terrible taco, not enough cheese and full of fruit. Forget it, that's my last time eating there. That's it, I'm done.

19/05/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. An extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. The welcome was deplorable, the staff clearly lacked professionalism, and the way they spoke to customers was unacceptable. The most shocking thing was the manager's attitude, who dared to tell me, "It's better if you don't come back to my restaurant," simply because I pointed out poor service. I have never seen a manager react so disrespectfully to a customer. Instead of listening to feedback and trying to improve the situation, they prefer to disrespect customers. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. I strongly advise against this establishment. Personally, I will never set foot in it again, and I advise others to avoid this place if they want to be treated with even a modicum of respect.

06/09/2026: McDonald's prices are outrageous, especially considering the quality of the food served. The tables are dirty, the floor is greasy—it's definitely not worth the money. Luckily, the employees are friendly, but that's not enough, especially at €15 for a Big Mac.

04/09/2026: Hello, I placed a click and collect order this evening, and there were no desserts in the bag... This isn't the first time this has happened. We pay for things we don't receive.

15/09/2026: Don’t understand what all the bad reviews are about. Fast and very friendly service. Flammkuchen was good.

14/09/2026: We went in by chance because of a sudden downpour. We only wanted to get a drink. We ended up having tarte flambée and rösti. It was really good. And the prices were really fair.

27/08/2026: A very, very good experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very, very pleasant.

09/08/2026: There was a lack of meat, raw vegetables, and surprisingly, even bread. The promotional menu was rarely (if ever) available.

13/09/2026: On several occasions, the sandwiches seemed to have been left out at room temperature for too long (the salad was cooked inside the Big Macs). Furthermore, this is the most expensive McDonald's I've ever tried. The prices are clearly exorbitant compared to other McDonald's restaurants in the capital. The cleanliness of the dining area often leaves much to be desired. The nice thing, however, is the large outdoor area and a castle big enough for children to play in.

29/08/2026: Update following your response (8 months later): For every negative review, you systematically reply that it's the customer's fault. I live in Lherm, I'm not stupid, I know where I'm going, especially since there's no other option 😉 Self-reflection is important. We've been occasional customers since it opened. It's clearly not gourmet food, but it used to do the job. Except lately, it's hit rock bottom. Systematic errors with orders (for 4 people): wrong sauce, wrong meat, missing fries... Tonight was our last order, sorry... Everything was dripping with oil. Hands were soaked... Fries were incredibly soggy and swimming in oil. Nuggets were the same. Chicken was the same. Wrong sauce in one of the sandwiches. Two tacos that won't be finished, and yet, hungry teenagers. 40 bucks for 4 tacos, some of which will end up in the trash... No way.

19/07/2026: Nice setting, but that's about it. The service is incredibly slow, and the prices are outrageous: a baby Coke for €11 and a local aperitif made with red wine (less than 4cl) served in a digestif glass for €5. Of course, for €16 there was no ice or anything to nibble on. The terrace was completely empty at 12:30 pm—no wonder! It's not just a place to avoid, it's a place to steer clear of!
