14/08/2026: Opt for pastries over bland bread and defrosted cakes. The service is pleasant, but the wait is often long due to the preparation time for hot drinks served on-site. Takeaway sales suffer as a result, and I've often had to leave. The layout, though recent, and the management of the two cash registers need to be redesigned to eliminate this bottleneck, which is discouraging and therefore detrimental to revenue.

13/08/2026: This morning I had a ham and cheese sandwich and a white chocolate croissant. For the sandwich, they put a ton of mixed salad—a mix of lamb's lettuce, arugula, and dandelion—along with a thin slice of ham and Emmental cheese, all for over €5. Given that they're in the restaurant business, how can they justify the low price, especially since the salad is the cheapest kind and the other ingredients are mediocre? And as for the white chocolate croissant, after walking 500 meters (too lazy to go back), you realize it was just a regular chocolate croissant. Not a trace of white chocolate. A shoddy, unassuming business with rather eccentric staff. In short, I'm very disappointed. I promise I won't be going back and I'll give you some very bad publicity.

31/08/2026: Since the renovation and staff change, nothing has gone right. The young woman who used to work here was more patient, welcoming, and worked with love; everything was perfect. Some products were missing but listed as available?! The muffins were raw inside, doughy... The latte was the only good drink. I feel like I'm bothering them, even though there are no other customers. They're bitter and unprofessional.

05/08/2026: We stopped by Columbus Café, located inside the Leroy Merlin store in Livry-Gargan. We ordered pistachio milkshakes. The cashier was serving customers alone, while another employee was present but said he was on break and didn't want to help. As a result, we waited over 20 minutes. After this long delay, the cashier informed us that they were out of pistachios. We then asked for a refund. She made us wait another 5 minutes before telling us she didn't know how to process a refund to our bank card. After we insisted, she finally returned, claiming that they did have pistachios after all. So we agreed to keep our order. But once we left, as we started drinking our drinks, we realized that it wasn't a pistachio milkshake. It was simply milkshakes with almond-flavored powder, without any pistachio flavor whatsoever. I find this behavior dishonest. Making customers believe they are receiving a product that doesn't match their order is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this establishment. Unfortunately, we are clearly not the first to experience this type of disappointment.

29/08/2026: It's a disgrace. While the staff are welcoming, the owner doesn't accept the slightest criticism and always has an answer for everything. We asked for our dish to be slightly warmed because it was a bit cold, and he told us it had just been taken out of the refrigerator and asked if we were just looking for a fault for the sake of it. The apartment wasn't clean; we considered leaving without sleeping.

19/05/2026: Since the introduction of the €1 meal to combat student poverty, the food at the CROUS (student cafeteria) has become increasingly inedible, and the variety of dishes is questionable. The meals are becoming less and less diverse, and the opportunity to eat meat is increasingly rare. Between pasta at every meal and the mixtures of leftover vegetables from the previous day's starters, this CROUS is becoming a disgrace to French gastronomy and to the supposed values ​​of a CROUS (a balanced and varied meal accessible to all). I hope that government services will take control of the CROUS meals, which are increasingly turning into a nightmare.

Every time we go, there are problems: the wait is incredibly long for a fast-food chain, there are always issues with the orders, and the staff are so incompetent! You can't really blame them, they're young and learning, but don't they have supervisors to help them? Tonight was the last straw. My daughter and her friend placed a takeout order for the whole family at 7:54 PM... nothing happened. Their order had apparently been canceled. They were told they'd follow up, and still nothing. At 9:05 PM, they finally got a refund, and... the kids were starving (not to mention the disappointment). They saw orders being thrown away. A guy was dancing instead of working. A joke! This McDonald's is definitely one to avoid! We won't be spending another euro there. BURGER KING, what are you waiting for to open a store in La Ciotat?

04/10/2026: An hour's wait at the drive-thru. A new national record. I'm not going back in because it's too dirty. An experimental restaurant for McDonald's. Hard to believe that an executive ever set foot in this fast food place. Nobody cares!!!

27/03/2026: It must have been a beautiful establishment once, but now it's more complicated. The food was questionable, and we were alone in that huge room. The owner was friendly that day. In short, it was a timeless experience for us. We'll check out the nearby competitors next time.

13/09/2026: The atmosphere was awful, the staff were disrespectful, they barely looked at us or even spoke to us, and the food was terrible, practically from the day before.

19/08/2026: The waiters are certainly pleasant to look at, but the prices exceed Switzerland's GDP. €8.50 + €0.50 for 7 frozen mozzarella sticks that are slightly too stretchy... or the squid rings from the school cafeteria (not €1)... thankfully there's a tray of fries, diluted ketchup, and mayo... Speaking of the fries... they're cooked but as empty as my bank account. Note that the "tapas" were served 30 minutes after payment... perhaps a way to get the customer drunk and make them forget how expensive frozen food is... The establishment charges as much as France during tax season (50 cents per drink on the terrace... I can't imagine drinking a spritz from a cardboard cup). The Plastics Directive is sweating bullets with plastic straws and cutlery... Regarding the cocktails, they're drinkable but could be better. Finally, we understand the lovely terrace... although some of the seats could use a refresh... Anyway, it's so expensive that even my card refused to process the payment. 17/08/2026: We booked a table a week ago and at the last minute we found out we'd be seated in full sun like everyone else who hadn't booked.

22/09/2026: I don't even know where to begin, it's such a mess and a rip-off. I paid for a meal, a sandwich, and some nuggets, and I ended up with a completely different order that cost half the price I paid. What's more, the manager checked it right in front of me and, after I had my doubts, insisted it was my order. Now I have to unwrap the sandwiches every time to make sure it's actually my order. They're quick to chat with me about their current offers, but they can't even manage to prepare my order properly. This isn't the first time things have gone wrong at this McDonald's, so bon appétit and avoid this McDonald's at all costs. Marignane isn't that far away, and I'll definitely be making the detour from now on.
