17/09/2024: Magnifique! The meals were delicious and beautifully prepared, genuine Michelin style in a beautiful village. The meals and excellent wines cost the same as our pub grub the day before that did not compare. I had a delightful terrine of pike and a glass of Provence rosé after the superb amuse bouche of melon soup. The staff were wonderful and the chef greeted us personally to enquire about our dining experience. There’s also a beautiful garden dining area to enjoy in the sunshine. Thoroughly recommended

We went there on recommendations and from the welcome to the dishes to the atmosphere, finally a real restaurant worthy of the name.

09/07/2025: Lovely setting, beautifully presented dishes, good tasting, except for the roasted watermelon for dessert, which tasted like nothing!
Very slow service, long waits. We arrived at 7:50 p.m., had to ask for dessert, which was delayed. We went to the checkout at 10:15 p.m., which took 2.5 hours for a 3-course meal plus an appetizer, which was a very long time... Many customers arrived after us and left before us!
It's a shame the slow service disappointed us; we should see it again...

04/09/2024: Excellent times spent at the ice cream parlor where the staff takes great care! Nice setting at the water's edge, comfortable both on the sofas and at the table to enjoy excellent ice creams! A little more lounge atmosphere in the evening which is very pleasant.
Thank you, we will come back next year!

Nous avons pris l'incontournable pissaladière pour debuter,elle vaut sa réputation. Le reste du repas était tout aussi bon et copieux.
Ambiance conviviale et chaleureuse, la bonne humeur jusque dans l'assiette.
Petit clin d'œil pour leur sangria, un délice.

Discreet place and calm and pleasant atmosphere.
The food is simply excellent and quality.
The service is perfect, the staff very welcoming and dressed in traditional clothing.
We travel in one meal!

26/11/2024: We were pleasantly surprised by our dinner at the Victoire Hugo restaurant. The staff was not only friendly but also very professional. The menu was excellent with quality products. Nothing to complain about 👍
22/11/2024: Bonne brasserie au pays foyen, accueil agréable, plats délicieux et copieux, choix à la carte aux prix raisonnable, par contre le le menu est cher (plus de 30 euros) . Le samedi midi un menu unique , pour le jour du marché, est proposé dans les 25 euros est excellent.

Les cocktails, les plats sont assez chers pour la qualité de ce que l'on a dans l'assiette - le tataki de thon est bof ...
23/09/2024: Nous avons opté pour le tataki de thon. Cuisson totalement loupée, nous étions très loin de la cuisson d’un tataki. De plus, la présentation était simple, basique, sans âme ni vie. Assez triste. Après, ce n’était pas mauvais mais c’est vrai qu’on s’attend à mieux surtout à la vue des prix pratiqués pour une petite ville comme Reims…
Hormis la jeune femme qui nous a servi, le personnel n’était pas chaleureux ni vraiment agréable. Nous avons même été invités à quitter la terrasse à 11h51 parce que le restaurant ouvre à 12h. Sur le principe, pas de problème mais pourquoi nous faire partir pour 9min !? (3 autres tables ont également été invitées à partir).
Du coup, tant pis pour le restaurant, nous avons tous été prendre l’apéritif dans un bar. Sacré manque à gagner à la fin de l’année…
Dans l’ensemble, ce n’est pas une mauvaise adresse mais ce n’est pas un trésor caché non plus. Disons que pour conclure, c’était plus ou moins bien. Sans plus.
