01/03/2026: Everything is perfect in this restaurant: a delicious, well-prepared, and high-quality meal, and impeccable service. EXCEPT that at a certain point, the noise level needs to be controlled in the dining room. This lunchtime, while everything was going perfectly, it only took two people, who must have forgotten their hearing aids, to ruin the meal for all the other customers, given the volume of their incessant conversations. Considering that it wasn't my place to intervene or mention it to you, since your kitchen is open to the dining room and you must have heard it, I'm taking the liberty of editing this review in order to help improve your establishment.

05/01/2026: We ate at this restaurant yesterday, and what can I say except that we received a warm welcome. There were four of us, all dressed in hiking gear, and we hadn't made a reservation, yet they welcomed us. We all ordered set menus and were frankly not disappointed at all, from the appetizers to the desserts. A truly excellent place; I highly recommend this establishment, located in Larnas, Ardèche. See you soon for another culinary experience.

21/03/2026: We came because we had heard good reviews about this restaurant. The meal did not live up to our expectations; perhaps we were just unlucky that day for our table of six. Amuse-bouche: bland panna cotta. Starter: chestnut velouté, decent but very thin. The main course completely disappointed us: the menu listed skate wing with caper sauce and risotto. This dish appealed to us, but we were told it was monkfish. We decided to try it anyway. What a disappointment when we tasted the monkfish! Overcooked and rubbery in some portions and undercooked in others. The risotto was bland, lacking in richness and flavor, and the caper beurre blanc sauce was also bland, lacking the true taste of capers. We mentioned this to the waitress, who did her best to rectify the situation. She sent the undercooked monkfish back to the oven and told us that monkfish is a firm-fleshed fish and that it wasn't overcooked. We weren't convinced. We were offered a coffee or a digestif as an apology, but that won't be enough to persuade us to return. I find it hard to understand how reviews describe this as a gourmet restaurant. The prices are unjustified for dishes so lacking in finesse and flavor.

20/02/2026: I went there in January with my family and was pleasantly surprised by the menu and the quality of the meal; you can tell everything is homemade. I highly recommend it!

11/04/2026: I had a wonderful time at La Herse. The starter was excellent and the steak tartare perfectly prepared. The rice pudding was a slight disappointment, falling a little short of the rest of the meal, but overall, the experience was very positive. The quality of the ingredients is evident throughout. A reliable restaurant that I highly recommend if you're visiting the "Little Venice of the Beauce"!

05/04/2026: The food was very good and beautifully presented. The setting was pleasant. It's a shame there are no set menus, only à la carte options, as this makes the bill quite high... There was a long wait between courses.

12/03/2026: We felt very comfortable. The service was very attentive and friendly. The salmon carpaccio starter was excellent. The Ji pai bun and Ji pai fan main courses were both delicious. Finely chopped, nicely spicy chilies were added upon request. The cheesecake with espresso afterwards was the perfect sweet finishing touch. And all at prices that were perfectly reasonable, especially by Parisian standards. Highly recommended.
