We got the 6 course tasting menu and it just blew us away, the flavours of each dish were delicious. I only wished we lived in Paris as we would be here all the time. 01/02/2026: We had a wonderful culinary experience. As we love citrus fruits, our palates appreciated their presence in several dishes. The wine pairing was perfect. Two minor drawbacks: - the "crying tiger" steak lacked zest, and the fat on the ribeye was a bit much for us; - the increasing heat in the dining room as the evening progressed (33°C at 10:45 pm according to a neighbor's watch). But overall, we'll have a very positive memory of it.

08/05/2026: So, I don't think this inn needs our endorsement here to exist, since word of mouth works very, very well, and writing this review requires us to be somewhat up to the task. So I'll give it a try. The praise we heard about this place initially piqued our curiosity. Today, we can say that going to Frankenbourg is like taking a delightful break, a suspended moment where your mind is captivated and carried away by the successive discoveries of beautiful dishes, rich in color and flavor. Here, you can feel the passion for the craft and the respect for the people they welcome. The cuisine is excellent, both refined and flavorful. My "vegetable stroll," with its mosaic of celery, asparagus, and delicious stuffed morel, its glossy poached egg, spinach ravioli, and finally, the delicate dessert of fine meringue, remains etched in my memory as the wonderful memory of a walk under the first rays of sunlight. Frankenbourg reignites our impatience, curiosity, and the joy of discovery. And that's what life is all about, and we love it! Its reputation is truly well-deserved, as it lives up to the high expectations raised by the reviews we hear and read. This speaks volumes about the consistency and high standards of the establishment. So, thank you to this wonderful team of professionals in hospitality, service, and the kitchen for making us forget, for the duration of a meal, that all is not as rosy as it seems outside. We will certainly return on our next trip for another immersive experience, as this restaurant could easily become a delightful addiction. As you can see, it's a truly wonderful place to discover without hesitation.

08/05/2026: A good restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed the tasting menu with excellent wine. All courses were delicious and of high quality. The service was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had a wonderful time at Auberge Frankenbourg.

13/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant! The service is always incredibly friendly (four times in total); the food is excellent and reasonably priced (around €30 for two people). We've always ordered takeout, and the wait has never exceeded 15 minutes. I highly recommend it!

01/03/2026: I'll start my review with a minor drawback: a clear lack of staff. The owner, who is a good sommelier, had to serve the dishes while leaving the bottles on the table, without having time to pour the wines for us. It's a shame there wasn't a Bordeaux on the wine list. On the other hand, the meal was exquisite; the dishes were beautifully presented with exceptional flavors and excellent service. Despite these small details, we will return to this establishment where we had a wonderful evening.

28/02/2026: A mixed experience for this meal, on my birthday. A family meal with our 8-year-old son. I'll try to be as objective as possible; let's talk about the food: Top-notch. Dishes crafted with extreme precision, perfectly cooked, and incredibly fresh… I can say we ate very, very well. The tableware: incredibly inventive and absolutely beautiful! A taste of the ocean in Brittany. Now let's talk about the hiccups, which, for me, are almost unacceptable in a Michelin-starred establishment and for a bill of several hundred euros for four people. The atmosphere: COLD. Like the Breton wind from Finistère 😂 That's the word. There was absolutely no warmth. The service was rather rushed, and the response to my son's question about a dish was mediocre/barely adequate. My birthday? Not a single little gesture. (This isn't the first time I've gone to a restaurant like this for this occasion.) I had, however, mentioned this little event when making the reservation. I wasn't expecting a big party, but a small gesture would have been very appreciated. We asked for more bread… “We're out of bread, I didn't expect people to eat so much.” Okay. 😅 One last little point, which I'm sure will be “discussed” by other guests: Cheese, for goodness' sake!!! There are so many wonderful varieties of cheese in Brittany! It's a shame to forget them!

23/05/2026: One of our favorite restaurants in Provence. Always a warm reception and excellent, smiling service. The dishes are beautiful with flavors that surprise and delight. In particular the current offering of dorade comes with an amazing fermented carrot broth. I wish I had some of this to make a Bloody Mary! Merci beaucoup pour un dîner magnifique.
