28/08/2026: This is our third visit; the staff is very friendly, the service is quick, and the pizzas, focaccia, and pasta are excellent. The terrace is lovely with a sunset view, and the dining rooms have been tastefully renovated. A must-visit.

26/08/2026: Nice decor, pleasant service, but the food clearly leaves much to be desired. The presentation of the dishes is really lacking. The children's meal of macaroni and cheese with ham is like something you'd get in a school cafeteria. Frankly, as the daughter of a restaurant owner, I hate to do this, but I strongly advise against this restaurant. It's a shame to have such a beautiful establishment and location to serve such mass-produced food. PS: It was my children's birthday, and they didn't even receive a candle or any special attention. That's what customer experience is all about.

22/08/2026: A very warm welcome, delicious and fresh seafood. Refined and original cuisine; we thoroughly enjoyed everything from aperitif to dessert. We had a lovely time and highly recommend this small restaurant with its terrace.

22/08/2026: Passing through Paimpol, we booked a table at this restaurant. Very warm welcome. I recommend the turbot with new potatoes and carrot purée—delicious! Excellent service. I highly recommend it; remember to book.

27/07/2026: This is a warm and unpretentious Italian restaurant located near the Champ de Mars. The staff and the owner were all incredibly kind and considerate of children, making it my favorite meal of the entire trip to Paris. Although there was a language barrier, I could feel everyone's warmth. For the lunch set, you can choose between an appetizer + main or a main + dessert, and at 19 euros, the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend the charcuterie plate, lasagna, and penne pomodoro!

04/09/2026: For the second time, we thoroughly enjoyed the sole meunière to share. A cozy atmosphere on the terrace in the evening and attentive staff... It's the perfect place for a wonderful late summer evening! We highly recommend it!!

01/09/2026: There were five adults and one child in our party, and we asked to be seated on the terrace, which had a magnificent view. The waiter's welcome was very pleasant and professional; these were our only positive points. Otherwise, the food was average, especially considering the price. For example, the Aravis salad consisted of bagged salad, admittedly a generous portion, but without any dressing, with a small amount of gravlax and a tiny piece of trout rillettes on toast that tasted identical to what you'd buy in a supermarket. The Aravis salad also contained a large amount of tasteless bagged salad with bland blocks of Reblochon cheese and a very salty slice of Savoy ham. As for the Savoyard burger I ordered, the meat was overcooked, even though I had asked for it medium. It came with small, boiled, and tasteless potatoes. The slice of Savoyard cheese was ridiculously small, not to mention the tasteless tomato slice. The lamb shank and the Savoyard escalope were decent, but considering the price, we expected better quality. I wonder, given some of the rave reviews, if the current chef is still the same! In short, we were disappointed by this restaurant!

30/08/2026: We had a wonderful culinary experience during our stay in Leschaux. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. The service was quick and the local dishes were delicious, made with quality ingredients. I highly recommend it. The setting and the view are also worth the trip.

11/07/2026: We ate there recently, and it was delicious. The goat cheese and honey escalope with pasta was wonderful. The service was incredible; Karim was very welcoming, attentive, and offered great advice. I highly recommend it.

16/08/2026: So conflicted about whether to even leave a review for this place. Possibly the worst dining experience we have had during our week of travelling in Spain and France... ... but that may have mostly been down to our unsophisticated pallates, and poor menu choices (v.s. other items we may have liked better). Had our choices better suited our tastes, I'm sure we would have actually had a really good experience, and that's the basis of the 3-star score. Quenelle of chicken had the texture of blamanche and an indistinct flavour profile, and the andouillette had the look, smell, taste, texture and warmth of a freshly laid turd. Both were probably 'good' - but it was just a bit unexpected. The execution of the food seemed on-point, especially e.g. the sauces (which we would expect from a Lyonnaise bouchon), it's just we didn't really enjoy the dishes. Even the desserts were a bit 'meh'. Drinks were nothing to write home about (the quality of the wine by the glass was nothing above bang-average table wine, and the AF beer was the frankly abhorrent Kronenbourg). Service was good, and the staff very friendly and obliging, though clearly busy. I would note that the food came out extremely quickly (rather too quickly), with no real break between courses. Value was very good, for authentic Lyonnaise food. Note that the excellent value Menu des Canuts is also available in the evening. The establishment seems to be going for a kind of hybrid modern/shabby vibe, and I'm not sure I fully got it. Mixed furniture, crockery etc... OK, but two of the bowls my food was served in were chipped. Tables inside were small. There are lots of people who will bang on about, say Jane Austen, when, by most objective measures, she churned-out some pretty dreary works of little literary merit. Yet there she still sits, exalted, on her pedestal. The same metaphor probably applies to Lyonnaise cuisine, if this is anything to go by. If it's your thing, though, you could certainly do worse than give this place a try. You might like it; in fact you probably will. So a mixed review, let's say.

15/08/2026: Excellent Lyonnais bistro, the service is impeccable and fast. We had the set menu with starter, main course, and dessert, and all three were a success. Absolutely worth it.

13/08/2026: The food is very good, but some prices are inconsistent (we understand a seafood dish at €24, but what about a burger at €26 and children's tenders – homemade, admittedly – ​​at €14!). It's up to you...

17/08/2026: We ordered pork and beef momos (dumplings) and a noodle soup; it was simply delicious and served in generous portions. These are comforting and well-seasoned dishes, from the filling and broth to the homemade sauces that accompany them. Not to mention the impeccable service, the kindness, and the dedication of the restaurant owners. Thank you for this wonderful experience! 😊☺️

10/08/2026: We visited this restaurant with friends and were looking over the menu posted outside before deciding whether to go in. A staff member came out and was dismissive toward us, as if she’d already assumed we weren’t planning to eat there. It gave off a rude, unwelcoming first impression.

24/08/2026: Never again. The service was very good and the staff were friendly, but we were a couple and ordered a portion of fried calamari and they brought us five frozen ones, and we ordered croquettes and they brought us five frozen croquettes! Never again!

30/08/2026: The staff are great, the products are fresh, the butcher's steak and baker's bread make all the difference, and the prices are reasonable. A great find.

18/08/2026: Excellent evening at Le Parvis A truly wonderful evening at Le Parvis, in an idyllic setting. We came as a family and enjoyed the six-course menu. The dishes were delicious, refined, and beautifully presented on very pretty plates. The service was also excellent, attentive, and pleasant. We paired our meal with an aperitif and a bottle of wine, and had a wonderful time from beginning to end. It was also a pleasure to meet the chef at the end of the meal, who took the time to greet each table. This particularly thoughtful touch was the perfect way to conclude this lovely experience. We will definitely return, and we are already looking forward to enjoying the beautiful garden and trying the tapas!
