20/10/2026: Les Portes Mordelaises is the name given to this ancient 15th-century fortified gate and its twin towers. They are very well preserved and make a striking impression upon arrival, as if you've stepped back in time to the city's medieval era. Furthermore, their historical significance is noteworthy, since the Dukes of Brittany traditionally entered through this fortified gate to be crowned in the cathedral. It's a worthwhile stop for the surrounding area and the imposing defensive architecture, although the monument itself can be explored very quickly, serving more as an essential photo opportunity within Rennes' old town than a place to linger.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the service was welcoming but slow, probably due to staff shortages, but we weren't in a hurry and we truly appreciated our time at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the AI-generated music was awful and played on a loop—what a shame!

24/10/2026: We arrived at the public house at 7 pm. We waited for a server to take our order and even went to the bar to ask if we could order, but they kept us waiting. The server finally arrived at 7:31 pm to tell us we couldn't order Happy Hour anymore because it only lasted until 7:30 pm. We'd been there since 7 pm... Very underhanded.
