Much more than just a meal, it's a true immersion in Moroccan culture and flavors, without leaving Narbonne! 11/09/2026: Despite being right beside the Nice airport this restaurant was a breath of fresh air, the staff (especially Laurent) were all fantastic - very professional, attentive (but not overly so), and the food was magnificent! For once, we were so glad that we arrived earlier than room check-in was ready!

05/09/2026: The meat we ordered was awful; it wasn't the kind of meat you'd expect in a steak, as it was so tough you could chew it endlessly without even chewing it. Plus, it was incredibly fatty. I think the manager should pay more attention to the type of meat they buy. It's clearly cheap meat. Even so, thanks to the staff for their service and the pleasant atmosphere!

26/09/2026: Reservation for 37 people for a business lunch. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us to choose our menus on the day and providing a small private room just for us. There was a good selection of menus, and the dinner was excellent.

04/10/2026: South African here visiting Versailles with a PhD in Food. The sushi was absolutely disappointing. The rolls were tiny as if they were trying to save cost. More rice than sushi. I don’t know where they learned to make sushi. Absolutely disgusting. The rice wasn’t even sticking together, lettuce was wrapped around the rice…I am so disgusted. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. Worst meal I had in France !!!!!!!!!!!!

27/10/2026: During our stay, we had our first meal there and were absolutely delighted! The welcome and service were perfect! The red wine was incredibly good, and the food! Oh my! A pure delight! Authentic Corsican cuisine showcasing local ingredients. It was so good that we had our last meal there before leaving. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back on my next trip! This place and the entire team deserve 5 stars!

05/10/2026: The terrace and selection of exceptional beers and cocktails are fantastic, and a special mention goes to the service, particularly Sira and Baptiste who welcomed us "like family" this lunchtime. This establishment will now be my go-to spot when I'm in Place Plumereau (the quality of service is clearly not on the same level in the other bars on the square, especially L'Épée Royale).

28/09/2026: Fantastic experience! It's a small, friendly, family-run amusement park where children have the opportunity to ride motorcycles and quad bikes from a very young age, with a real instructor to guide them. I highly recommend it! The team is welcoming and very professional. Thank you!

19/10/2026: Calais has a wide choice of restaurants, at all price points. This was our third visit to Histoire Ancienne. It is a smart, traditional French restaurant. Study the menus carefully - there are some real bargains to be had on the fixed price options. They serve draught beer - always better value, and not always available in France. The service is attentive, the food is very good - and a pride is taken in the presentation of each plate.

15/10/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't give more! Where do I even begin when everything is excellent… We came for my grandmother's birthday, arriving early and still receiving a warm welcome. The place is cozy and comfortable. It's full of historical details and memorabilia that will pique the interest of history buffs. The atmosphere was more than pleasant. Our two servers were attentive, funny, and above all, professional. We even received a greeting from the chef and a souvenir photo. I can't talk about the chef without mentioning his absolutely delicious cuisine. We feasted, from the amuse-bouche to the desserts; everything was perfect. Each dish was a true delight, with perfectly balanced flavors that tantalized our taste buds from beginning to end. Generous, refined, and flavorful cuisine that alone justifies our visit. Whether it's the exceptional quality of the cuisine, the warm welcome, the professionalism of the team, or the charming and historic setting, everything comes together for a truly memorable experience. We left with smiles on our faces, our heads full of new family memories, and our stomachs full! A must-visit restaurant that we will return to with immense pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! A huge thank you again to the entire team for this wonderful experience! P.S.: We opted for the Big Gourmet menu at €40 (starter, main course, and dessert), but there are also less expensive set menus and à la carte options. The set menu remains the best value for money and choice :)
