23/09/2026: We booked a table for our son's 10th birthday several days ago and received a confirmation email. However, we just discovered that the restaurant is closed... Luckily, we didn't arrive as a family on Saturday at 7:00 PM. It's impossible to send an email or reach them by phone. This is very frustrating. And it's extremely frustrating.

05/10/2026: Wonderful atmosphere! The service was quite pleasant. To be honest, the baked potato side dish that came with my veal steak was excessively garlicky. The meat was delicious!

04/10/2026: Hello, what a load of rubbish! The overpriced bottle of rosé, like everything else. Thankfully, the sweet dessert was wonderful. Phew! The food tries to compete with haute cuisine, but falls far short. An overpriced tuna dish with four pieces of tuna and two lettuce leaves on top, practically fighting over each other. Luckily, it's just a tourist trap for them. Be warned, when you see the sign, it looks like a top-notch establishment. But they're amateurs, and two of them are clearly lacking. They should move the restaurant further inland. And it won't last the year.

02/09/2026: To be honest, I was expecting to pay a fortune for some mediocre beachside spot (like 70% of restaurants)... and what a surprise! There were seven of us, and we all loved it! The only downside was that you can definitely tell you're right on the beach and that the tables are being sold, so you feel a bit rushed... (hence my 4/5 rating for service, even though the waiters were smiling). The food was very good, though. We'll be back. Thank you.

07/10/2026: For years, the 550 km journey has seemed short when we consider such excellent food, smiling and attentive service, and exceptional cuisine; the restaurant delights us every time.

22/09/2026: We stopped at this establishment quite by chance for lunch. We ordered the set menu. We were very pleasantly surprised by the contents and quality of the meal. The chilled beetroot soup was excellent, slightly frothy. We followed with steak and potatoes, steakhouse style. The beef was well-prepared, tender, and a good size. For dessert, we had a pear and blackcurrant tart. We also had a bottle of sparkling water and a coffee. €67 for three people. The price is reasonable and in line with the average. We received a warm welcome, even after 1 p.m. The service was very good, polite, and friendly. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

01/10/2026: A very pleasant place where you're greeted with a smile, and the service is very friendly and attentive. It's great to enjoy the terrace when the weather is nice. We went there for lunch during a workday and were served quickly.

29/09/2026: This brasserie is very well located in the heart of Pau. The homemade iced tea was a bit too cinnamon-flavored for me, but that's just a matter of taste. The servers are efficient and attentive. It's the perfect place to relax for a while in the center of Pau.

15/10/2026: A wonderful surprise! From the welcome to the bill, everything was perfect at Le Patio… the octopus confit: I'd never seen anything like it before and it was absolutely delicious… as was the two-lemon dessert… the house aperitif (muscat, lemonade, raspberry) is also highly recommended, and the prawns on a spit were as beautiful to look at as they were tasty. Thank you to the entire restaurant team for such a wonderful time spent there.

15/10/2026: We had a lovely time at this establishment. The setting is truly beautiful, and the servers are pleasant and welcoming. However, I found the prices particularly high. Working in the restaurant industry myself and being a regular at various restaurants, I was quite surprised by the price level. I can understand that an establishment located in a tourist village might have a certain pricing policy, but personally, I found the prices a bit excessive. I myself work in one of the most beautiful villages in France, and despite the tourist context, we are not at all in the same price range, and I should point out that this is for "homemade" food. This is, of course, just my personal opinion and doesn't detract from the quality of the establishment, which is truly pleasant. I would still recommend stopping by if you are in Villefranche; it remains a reliable choice.

01/09/2026: The meal was good overall. But we waited 40 minutes to order desserts and have them brought to our table.

31/08/2026: We were made to wait in the entrance while there was no one in the dining room and no one to tell us we were being attended to. The manager was arrogant, unpleasant, rude, and disrespectful, judging customers without knowing them, and using the informal "tu" form only to respond rudely. We've never had any problems in the past, but we won't be going back anytime soon.
