30/08/2026: The officially advertised closing time is 6:30 PM on Google and their notice board, but if you arrive at 6:00 PM, the door is closed. It's disappointing and unfair; many people make the trip for nothing.

21/08/2026: Excellent restaurant with a stunning view. The crepes, both savory and sweet, are superb and generous. And let's not forget the variety of ice creams that will satisfy any sweet tooth! ❤️🤩👍

31/08/2026: Well, no. The trio platter: the hanger steak was tough even though it was cooked rare, the rump steak was slightly better, but only slightly better, and there was a tablespoon of fatty vegetables, peppers, and eggplant with very tough skin. The same went for the tartare, which included a quartered button mushroom that was trying to soak up the oil from preserving the "vegetables." The tartare was indeed hand-cut, but already somewhat seasoned with a homemade sauce (?) and not a single condiment. Apart from a sprig of parsley lost in the middle of the meat. The parsley must have been curly, but it wasn't exactly fresh. Putting the meat, which has been exposed to air and is therefore a bit dry and a different color, at the bottom of the tartare doesn't hide it when you eat it. As for the fries: greasy, soggy, in short, uninteresting. Sunday lunch, nothing special for Sunday lunch prices... Average quality of the meat, noted without any particular reaction. No more Java for us.

22/08/2026: A renowned restaurant of very high quality. But for the past few weeks/months, the pasta has lost its flavor. The pesto Rosso is actually just pasta Bolognese. Ouch! 😬 Furthermore, the pasta with green pesto, stracciatella, and pistachios is no longer on the menu—a truly excellent dish. What a shame!

13/08/2026: Great place. Excellent staff. Fair price. Problem: Ineffective air conditioning. Installing ceiling fans would be a good idea. The intense heat would be much more bearable. Something to consider!

01/08/2026: Very traditional restaurant. Beautiful dining room, courteous and knowledgeable service. Wide choice of dishes, with many Alsatian classics. The sauerkraut prepared at the table is fantastic. The wine list is very extensive and very reasonably priced. Also includes many older vintages from Alsace, among others, at competitive prices. In short, highly recommended if you are staying in Alsace.

29/07/2026: Decent but that's it. My steak was beyond medium rare, the tournedos of my partner was better. Only fries (frozen from the local supermarket) and some lettuce with my steak. 4 stars because the tournedos saved them.

The food was excellent, and the welcome and service were simply perfect. 🥰 The setting is very pretty and pleasant; my parents and I had a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious, very well-balanced, and prepared with great care. A truly great find! We'll definitely keep this address for our next trip to the area. 🤩

07/07/2026: Undoubtedly the best place for lunch! Seasonal dishes elevated to a bistronomic standard offer unbeatable value for money (and a well-prepared vegetarian option is always available). The service is also fantastic, attentive, and accommodating! Just one small tip: be careful with the homemade bread, it's truly addictive 😄… so you can save room for dessert, where you'll always find a little piece of your favorite cake 🍰. In short, I've been eating there regularly for three years, and I never get tired of it!!

30/08/2026: Run by the same couple for 20 years, refined cuisine, classic ambiance. Very reasonable prices, open Sunday lunchtimes! A must-try! I've been going there regularly for many years and always enjoy it.

17/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, very good food and always a very warm welcome. (The spring rolls are homemade.) We happily return every time...
