06/10/2026: First time here, we had lunch on the terrace. From the very first moment, we knew everything was going to be great. A warm welcome, smiling staff attentive to their customers. So, a second visit 8 days later, this time inside... and it was confirmed: this is the place to stop for lunch. The team is young, but their attitude is that of experienced adults. We highly recommend it and will be back. A word for the owners, who clearly have a team that reflects their own character. Well done! It's refreshing. (We live on the Basque Coast)

15/09/2026: A wonderful family experience. The welcome was exceptional and very warm. We were seated comfortably according to our preferences. The staff were very attentive. The menu was truly extensive, offering something for everyone, and what's more, it was delicious! I will definitely be back.

03/11/2026: Mixed feelings after trying the linguine with prawns; €27 for a dish lacking any refinement. On the other hand, the profiteroles were excellent, and the setting very cozy, even if a bit noisy. The welcome was a bit over the top for my taste (an avalanche of "good evening, welcome"). As for the dessert selection, a realistic-looking platter was presented, but without prices… watch out for the bill!

25/10/2026: The food was excellent. The ambiance, however, didn't live up to the quality of the food. It felt a bit too "restrained" for the style of the restaurant, which has nothing to do with the pleasure of sharing.

06/10/2026: It looks like a small, unpretentious bistro, but that's just the look. Inside, the decor is inventive, extravagant, and the overall effect is magnificent. The outdoor courtyard is excellent. And what can I say about the food, the heart of the place... One word... EXCELLENT. It's been years since I've eaten in a restaurant with real cuisine, real flavors. This place should become a must-visit in Chambéry.

26/08/2026: A fantastic find near Montparnasse. Shredded beef Parmentier and crème brûlée (classic dishes, but honestly delicious) served at 5:30 pm with a smile! Parisian dining at its best. Thank you!

14/09/2026: With each visit to L’Impulsif, I notice a genuine evolution. The amuse-bouches become more surprising, and the cuisine is gradually asserting its identity. Serving the signature dish right from the start is a risky move: it immediately sets the bar very high, but the sake pairing perfectly complements this opening course. The lobster, delicately spiced, offers a beautiful balance. The monkfish then awakens the taste buds with plenty of character and a delightful boldness. The sweetbreads with plum are also very successful, even if they still lack that little something extra to fully evoke the expected emotion. The pairing of cheese and port is exceptional and constitutes one of the highlights of the meal. The dessert perfectly concludes the experience, extended with a touch of indulgence by a ratafia. L’Impulsif is a restaurant that progresses, experiments, and takes more risks with each visit. This evolution genuinely makes me want to return.
