19/07/2026: Second visit for us. Second wonderful experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. A warm welcome. Clear explanations and excellent advice, especially regarding the fabulous wine. From the appetizer to the dessert, the expertise is evident. The flavors are pronounced, just the way I like them. Everything was delicious. The dessert was very original and delightful. This is the place to go if you appreciate quality, beauty, and, above all, a simple and genuine welcome. Run to discover this magical place. Bravo and thank you. See you again, without a doubt.

29/06/2026: Exquisite food with unique touches from the chef, who always makes an effort to greet his guests personally. The service is excellent, and the setting is a charming, authentic French village, away from the tourist crowds. The set lunch menu changes daily and offers exceptional value, especially when paired with the carefully chosen local wines. This is, by far, my favorite restaurant in the area, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

10/09/2026: The food was excellent, no complaints there. However, we waited 30 minutes for a fork that never appeared. No one seemed to notice we were waiting. We had to go to the table ourselves for a waiter or waitress to come to us. I'd been wanting to eat there for a while, but I won't be going back.

16/08/2026: A magnificent experience at L’Aigle d’Or! Passing through Azay-le-Rideau from Reims to explore this beautiful region, we had the pleasure of dining at L’Aigle d’Or, and what an excellent evening it was! We chose the Envol menu: a true discovery from beginning to end. Magnificent dishes, refined cuisine, a wealth of flavors and wonderful combinations, with a particular focus on local produce. This approach was especially appreciated and gave even more meaning to this beautiful cuisine. Special mention must also go to the absolutely impeccable service: a smiling, attentive, friendly, and humorous team, all while remaining highly professional. The wine recommendation was particularly well-chosen, perfectly complementing our menu. Finally, what a pleasure it was to dine in this lovely garden, under this magnificent tree! A peaceful and charming setting that greatly contributed to the success of the evening. We left delighted, both by the cuisine and by the warm welcome and the ambiance. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return on our next trip to the Touraine region. Thank you to the entire team for this delightful experience!

The food is delicious, prepared with quality ingredients, the service is always outstanding, all in a friendly, family atmosphere. You can tell the team is passionate and very attentive to their customers. Children are treated like royalty. Thank you again for the wonderful feast yesterday.

22/08/2026: Simply the best restaurant in my opinion. The food is incredible; we come here often with my partner, my father, my brother, and my friends. We moved far away from Valenciennes and we're really sad we can't come as often as before 😞. We'll come back to the North just to eat here. The servers are so friendly!! The miso ramen is a sure thing!!

Out of curiosity, and wanting to give a positive review, I called, but the person on the phone didn't seem concerned by my well-intentioned request.

21/07/2026: I ordered pizzas and desserts from Via Roma for an event for 30 people. Everyone loved it; the (vegetarian) options were varied and all equally delicious. Plus, the owners are lovely. I highly recommend it!

30/06/2026: The welcome was fantastic; it's a pleasure to come in and settle in. The selection is varied, and the set menus are well thought out. The pizzas are delicious with a perfectly crispy crust. Excellent value for money; I'll gladly return.

27/08/2026: I made a reservation by phone today for two people. I asked if there was an air-conditioned room, mentioning that it was the middle of a heatwave. The owner told me there was only a terrace, so I asked if we could sit in the shade. He replied that no, of course not, it would be in full sun. He was probably joking. Then he told me there was an indoor room, so I asked again if there was an indoor room and if it was air-conditioned. At that point, the owner told me they were fully booked and hung up on me. Bravo, what a fine boss, the kind they don't make anymore! I hope that by constantly turning away your customers, your business goes bankrupt. That's all I wish for you.
