02/06/2026: We had lunch here today and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive. But what impressed us most was the honesty and kindness of the owners. I had left my bag at the restaurant and only realized it two hours later. When I called, they immediately came to my aid. The owner's brother, Eric, happened to be heading south in the same direction as us, and we were able to meet at a motorway service area. After a two-hour drive, he personally returned my bag to me. Such kindness and honesty are rare—you truly saved my day. A huge thank you to the whole team and especially to Eric!

02/06/2026: Perfect from start to finish. The waitress was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, and the service was quick and impeccable. The mussels with Roquefort sauce were perfect. Thank you for this lovely experience.

06/05/2026: I often order from O’Papa, and eating in is great, no complaints. However, the delivery (Uber Eats) is a huge disappointment. I've ordered twice, and both times the pasta arrived dry, whereas in the restaurant it's creamy. It's completely different. It's a shame, but there's clearly a quality issue with the delivery service. It needs to be addressed.

28/01/2026: For 10 years, I was a regular customer at the Auberge des Tureaux, but life's twists and turns meant I hadn't been back for 15 years. My first surprise: the chef recognized me, and so did the staff—many of whom hadn't changed. I won't deny that this was a very pleasant welcome! My second surprise: the food was still as delicious as ever, perhaps even better than I remembered, and the portions were still just as generous. In short, apart from the decor, nothing had changed, or rather, it had even improved! This makes the Auberge des Tureaux probably the best value for money in the Allier region today.

10/05/2026: If you're in the area, you can't miss it. The place and its gardens are beautiful, the portions and prices are fair, fantastic without being pretentious.

05/05/2026: We love this place. The menu is written on a chalkboard. There aren't many choices, but the food is well-prepared. It's also a good place to have a coffee and a chat.

12/04/2026: Quite expensive. They fall short quite a bit in terms of efficiency and quality. They claim a high label, but the breakfast is rather simple; sometimes no yogurt is available... Maybe this is because it was the end of the season, but when charging such high prices, one should expect higher quality. The evening meals, however, were very well prepared. The staff comes across as stressed, which sometimes translates into unfriendliness.

A big thank you to Mr Vito who went above and beyond to assist us in a time of need. I really cannot recommend the Hotel Carlina, the Chalet, its team and its location enough. 18/05/2026: My wife and I have eaten here twice in the last month or two. Our first trip we ate at the restaurant, was an excellent experience with service and with the quality of food. We did carry out a week or two later, same experience great service , from Joe , and quality was very good. We will be carrying out again today, thought I'd already reviewed this restaurant. Highly recommend! Great quality and the value, their prices are very reasonable.
