07/10/2026: Attractive prices and fast service. However, the galettes are small, sparsely filled, dry, and not very hot; the same goes for the desserts, where there's hardly anything on the plate considering the price. A shame.

16/10/2026: The first time I went there, I was a child… and it’s always a pleasure to return ✨ It’s impossible to tire of this place where the journey begins the moment you step through the door, continues with attentive service, and lingers on the plate, much to the delight of your taste buds. Cuisine that invites you to escape and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again!! A huge thank you to the entire team for these wonderful moments, with a special mention to Sabria for her legendary kindness, which makes the experience even more precious 🥰 A place I recommend without hesitation!

13/10/2026: The welcome is not warm. The sweet crepes are too greasy and when eating on the terrace you have to hold your glass because the tables are wobbly.

11/10/2026: I just got back from there today. My review won't be about the food. Until a rather disappointing event occurred, I was quite happy. I came alone and was seated at a table for two, which was joined to two other tables for two, making a row of six. One table was already occupied, and I was seated at the one furthest back. I was fine. A couple then came and sat down next to me. No problem. Then, the third occupied table, having finished their meal, left. If you're following along, there were then four of us at three tables for two. The couple who had just ordered were asked if they could sit elsewhere. People then moved to another table. I don't know why. My meal continued, and as I was about to finish my dessert, I was asked if I could also move to another table to make room for five people. I find this a particularly rude way of doing things, and it's the first time this has ever happened to me. Some might find me harsh, but this experience as a customer is particularly frustrating. You're reduced to this base commercial consideration of "I have to make money, and fast." I only had one crepe for dessert to finish, and I had to wait 5 minutes, even though it wasn't raining outside. They offered me a coffee when they saw my face. I shouldn't have agreed to move; perhaps I was too nice? Again, I'm not even mentioning the food, as that frustrated me. So, based on this experience alone, I don't recommend it.

28/08/2026: Arriving late, around 1:30 pm, from La Tremblade on the "Seagull Train," we received a very warm welcome at the Le Ribérou restaurant. A lovely, delicious homemade meal and a very friendly welcome in the heart of a beautiful little village. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2026: We came for dinner and were very well received. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. And the food was very good.

08/10/2026: A wonderful experience at Le Fossile! 🤩 We came to try the famous hanger steak with shallots, renowned as one of the restaurant's specialties, and we were definitely not disappointed! The meat was excellent, perfectly cooked, and the shallot sauce was delicious. 🥩 A big thank you also to Gabin, who took care of us with great kindness and professionalism. His attentive, friendly, and very pleasant service truly made our meal even more enjoyable. A fantastic place that we highly recommend. We will gladly return!

02/07/2026: Lovely hotel a short walk to the centre. Whole place had a clean, well run, friendly feel.

15/06/2026: A very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely attentive. The establishment was very clean. If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be the breakfast. It was a shame we had to make the pancakes and/or eggs ourselves. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

06/11/2026: I came in for a coffee, but ended up eating the best grilled cheese in the neighborhood, with a touch of fennel. I absolutely loved it! It's a big yes!

14/10/2026: What a lovely surprise! Having arrived from Courchevel, feeling quite down, near the hospital, we were received like guests, like regulars. From the starter—salmon tartare with John Dory and a delicate sauce—to the homemade "floating islands" dessert, prepared by a top-notch chef, a former fishmonger and true connoisseur of seafood, our meal was most enjoyable. His lovely wife and the attentive young waitress made it a truly delightful experience. I absolutely recommend this restaurant, a "nod to the beautiful houses of yesteryear."
