23/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! The restaurant was full, I arrived at 1:15 pm without a reservation, and I was greeted with a smile and kindness... The service was impeccable and the food delicious. I highly recommend this great place.

10/08/2026: A restaurant of very high gastronomic quality with an absolutely sublime Art Nouveau decor, the place is calm and the service impeccable, the menu is a surprise menu with dishes chosen by the chef, the only downside is that we explicitly asked for a strawberry dessert and were served a chocolate dessert while the table next door had a strawberry dessert, a shame to end the meal on a disappointing note!

05/11/2026: Halloween decorations are a must-see every year. The decorations are amazing, and the route is truly spooky. Hats off to the team who create these decorations at night!

31/10/2026: We booked for Halloween evening. We were told there would be Halloween entertainment, but given that it's a restaurant that welcomes children (with a designated area for them), we didn't expect the entertainment to be of this caliber. Unfortunately, we weren't informed beforehand, which is deplorable as we had a reservation. At 9:30 PM, we left at 11:00 PM without eating because we were with our 4-year-old son who was so traumatic he didn't know where to look.

29/10/2026: Fabulous! An unforgettable experience!

27/10/2026: We've been to this place several times, but today we were disappointed by the food. The pig's trotter lasagna was bland, the kidneys were very well cooked but too salty—perhaps there was veal stock in the sauce—and the dessert, orange salad with chestnut ice cream (three orange slices with grapefruit and pieces of fruit), was served sloppily. I really expected a proper orange salad... Furthermore, I was seated near the stairs where a slight draft was blowing down, and the atmosphere was rather cold and not very welcoming. It's a shame; we came all this way specifically to eat, after a 1 hour 45 minute drive each way.

10/10/2026: We had a wonderful meal celebrating our daughter's 18th birthday. The food was excellent, the wines very good at very reasonable prices, and the welcome and service were friendly. Thank you.

04/10/2026: Positive points: Good quality food, the chicken was very good (once we had more sauce), and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Points for improvement: The dishes were barely hot, we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation, the recommended wine didn't match the wines we had requested, and the beef bourguignon was dry.

16/10/2026: I ordered two sandwiches this evening and only received one. I tried calling, but the number was "not in service." So I tried calling the Jaude branch, but the woman hung up on me. I then tried Issoire eight times without success.

This restaurant is a delight, especially the salmon platter with new potatoes for €20 or €24.98 as part of the €24.99 set menu, which includes a starter and a platter or a platter and a dessert. At this restaurant, everything is truly homemade. The set menu offers a choice of three starters: pumpkin velouté, onion soup, or mimosa egg. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's an absolute must-try for its quality, decor, and the exceptional service. Five stars, and even more, in my opinion.

27/09/2026: Having come from the Charente region to spend a weekend at Beauval Zoo, we were looking for a restaurant for Saturday evening's meal nearby. TripAdvisor led us to Le Bousquet, and we certainly don't regret our choice. We received a warm welcome from the moment we called to make a reservation. The staff were friendly and efficient. And we had a wonderful meal. The menu was generous, with delicious homemade terrine and rillettes, and the meat cooked over charcoal was perfect. We would definitely recommend this place and will return if we have the opportunity to be in the area again.

25/09/2026: A huge disappointment As a regular at Le Bousquet during my stays in the region, I had always enjoyed this restaurant and readily recommended it. So I came for dinner with my family with great pleasure… what a disappointment! Arriving at 9:15 pm, the service quickly became problematic: a cold welcome, curt answers to our questions, and then a long wait for the wine. At 10:30 pm, my 5-year-old daughter's meal still hadn't arrived. When we asked about it, the waitress replied, "We're doing what we can, we have 200 covers." A particularly inappropriate response to a child who had been waiting for her dinner for over an hour. We had ordered three rib-eye steaks, cooked to three different degrees. One arrived completely raw and cold. Sent back to the kitchen, we then noticed that the second was also barely cooked, something we only realized when we returned it later. At 11:30 p.m., our daughter literally fell asleep at the table. We therefore asked to stop the meal and expressed our disappointment to the owner, particularly regarding the meat and the service. Unfortunately, her reaction disappointed us even more: rather than simply acknowledging the problems, we were met with a dismissive "to err is human," remarks about how her waitress had been "impeccable for the past four years," and comments that we felt were contemptuous, right up until the bill arrived. I can perfectly understand that a restaurant can have a difficult evening, especially with a large number of customers. What is much harder to accept is the lack of self-reflection and the way a legitimate complaint is handled. I remember Le Bousquet as a place I truly enjoyed before. But after this evening, I will unfortunately no longer recommend it. A real shame.

03/10/2026: Best sushi in Lyon. I've been eating there exclusively for the past few years. The best sashimi I've ever tasted; the fish is excellent. Great value for money. I highly recommend it.

12/09/2026: An unusual, wonderful place, steeped in history. Attentive service, a beautiful terrace overlooking the port, we even tasted grapes from the vine! Superb!

The service was very friendly, and the owner also spoke German, which made things easier. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back twice.
