24/08/2026: Spoiled and tasteless food. Avoid at all costs!!!

23/08/2026: We came across this Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant by chance while walking around Paris and decided to stop for lunch. We ordered Mehaberawi and kitfo, and both dishes were delicious. It had been a long time since I had eaten kitfo, so I especially enjoyed having it again. There was only one person working in the restaurant at the time, but she welcomed us warmly and managed the service surprisingly well on her own. The interior was also nicely decorated with items reflecting Ethiopian culture and traditions, which added to the overall experience. We also had traditional Ethiopian coffee served in a jebena, accompanied with incense (እጣን), which made the experience feel even more authentic. Having visited many Ethiopian restaurants in different countries, we would consider this one of the better places for anyone who wants to try authentic Ethiopian food and experience a little of the culture as well.

15/08/2026: I don't understand why the waiter only offered us bottled water at an extra cost and refused to serve us a carafe of water, even though we were being served at our table. It's a shame because otherwise it's a nice place and the prices are very reasonable. 19/08/2026: Impeccable meal. Very good portion. Super enjoyable.

17/08/2026: I came with my Pakistani family, so we're very familiar with the local specialties. The food is delicious (especially the salmon tikka masala, I loved it!), and the welcome from the family who runs the restaurant is excellent, regardless of your background. I recommend booking a table by phone; you won't be disappointed.

18/08/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant just steps from the train station and hotels (Novotel, Ibis, etc.). Reservation made through TheFork, with a discount on the dishes. Spritz, delicious homemade pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. The tiramisu was amazing!! A generous portion. (A walk is a must...lol) A must-try!

25/08/2026: Arriving by chance at this little square in Carces, we were immediately welcomed by the team at L'Olalpa, despite the presence of our two large dogs. They immediately offered our dogs water before we had even sat down at a table in the shade of the plane trees. So, dog friendly indeed! The service, the friendliness of the staff, and the deliciously prepared dishes were all excellent. The menu was very extensive, and the value for money was outstanding. We truly had a wonderful time. We would like to give credit to the entire team rather than simply saying that it was delicious. Bravo to everyone (Stephannie, Greg, Max, Manoella, and even the young photographer for whom it was her first time 😁). Thank you for this lovely experience ❤️

07/08/2026: Simply the best and freshest oysters I've ever eaten. Don't hesitate to book a tasting on-site, or keep an oyster knife in your glove compartment to shuck them yourself at the nearby picnic tables ;)

23/07/2026: I really loved the setting; you can tell everything is homemade with love, and the manager is lovely. I did offer some suggestions for improvements in the kitchen (based on my personal preferences), but the food is very good and reasonably priced! The €11-13 set menu for a main course, drink, and dessert is perfect :)

22/08/2026: We had dinner there during a raclette evening. The quality of the raclette, the atmosphere, and the service were all perfect. It's also an ideal spot for starting a hike or for a coffee and cake break.
