10/12/2024: We were not asked to cook the meat. Impossible to eat.

08/11/2024: The pleasant surprise in the village... Just 20 minutes from Fréjus, Mandelieu and Montauroux, 4 friendly people will warmly welcome you to help you taste their dishes, burgers and pizzas in a small family-style room. Make no mistake: you are not going there to visit Corsica but the specialties on the plate are copious and perfectly prepared. Everything is fresh and well presented. The quality of the dishes, from the most classic to the most specific, are the great positive point of the establishment. The aperitifs, digestives and wines of the island will delight you! Finally, this team of atypical guys gives you a real feeling of welcome, taking care of you and always ready to comment positively on your tastings. As a couple that evening: 2 aperitifs + 1 charcuterie platter + 1 à la carte dish each + 1 cheese platter + 1 coffee + 1 dessert + 1 bottle of wine for around €100. And 2 digestives each free! The pleasure compensates for the justified expense: we will return!

02/07/2025: This place has become truly pathetic, it's crazy. The waitress drops buckets of mussel shells on the table and floor. It's frenzied madness. She doesn't care. She cleans up two-thirds or three-quarters of them and leaves, leaving empty shells on the table until dessert without paying attention. This should be avoided since it's no longer called "Léon de Bruxelles. WARNING!!!!" It's just "Léon." Don't confuse them. It's completely different (especially the all-you-can-eat raw vegetable buffet, which has been removed to make way for mozzarella sticks in a €19.90 starter-main course or main course-dessert menu without coffee). There's much less choice, and the staff and restaurant management aren't up to par. It's ridiculous.

24/09/2024: Had a great time at Le Mazenay price was fair food was tasty and service was great

23/09/2024: I guess I don't know the taste very well. 🥲 I ate the 3 course lunch because it was cheap. There were limited menus to choose from for that course, but they were all so-so. I think it would be better to eat one entrée, two mains, and one dessert. The price isn't much different, but you can eat something more delicious. I had high expectations, but it was just so 😓
