30/08/2026: Don't miss this iconic and welcoming restaurant if you're in Ciboure! The traditional cuisine is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff is very attentive and kind. They've been preparing their traditional specialty, "Ttorro" (similar to a fish and seafood stew), for over five decades. It was absolutely delicious, as was everything else I tried (including the desserts, of course). I discovered this place thanks to the program about the French Basque Country, "Viajeros Cuatro," which aired in July of this year on the Spanish television channel Cuatro (attention, Ms. Celine!!). I can assure you it lives up to its reputation. Reservations are highly recommended.

18/07/2026: A lovely little neighborhood restaurant with delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients and efficient service. The menu is varied and the prices are quite reasonable. A great find!

26/08/2026: Eating on the terrace, under the wisteria, on a quiet Thursday, away from the market crowds, in August is already a delight. Then comes the friendliness of the staff… and finally, the menu… A feast for the eyes, the taste buds, and the wallet 🙂 A wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place 👍 Remember to book; it's essential to get a table.

25/08/2026: One of our favorite restaurants! Everything is excellent; you can really tell it's all homemade with quality ingredients. The dishes are full of flavor and always perfectly prepared. And on top of that, the service is fantastic: the couple who run the restaurant are lovely, super friendly, and welcoming. A truly wonderful place!

06/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We hadn't booked, but they managed to find us a table for four with children. The staff were very pleasant, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. It's rare these days to find all three. The lamb shoulder was simply incredible.

09/08/2026: Lunch at midday on a weekday, at a large communal table. You're bound to find yourself seated next to other customers. The service is clear, quick, and of good quality. I recommend arriving before the peak time, from 12:30 to around 1:30 pm, to avoid the crowds. I will gladly return to try the other dishes, which are very generous and served plated. The portions are so large that dessert isn't necessarily required. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

The menu is short, which is often a very good sign, and this is confirmed on the plate: high-quality, flavorful, and expertly prepared dishes. Special mention also goes to the genuinely kind welcome, which greatly enhances the enjoyment of the experience. An address you'll want to treasure... and, above all, recommend!

The food was excellent; we returned twice in four days and tried several courses... everything was delicious. The wine was also high-quality and the prices were absolutely competitive.
