14/08/2026: We had dinner last night, November 9th, in this very pleasant restaurant with its typically Alsatian decor. The dishes we enjoyed were extraordinarily generous and truly delicious, as were the lavish desserts. The service was absolutely perfect in every respect. Excellent value for money. A must-visit in Schiltigheim. Michel and Marie Moulin, Lyon. Back again this week to this wonderful restaurant that does justice to Alsatian tradition. We had lunch on Tuesday, May 2nd, and again today, May 4th, in this unique setting. The daily menus are exceptional. The dishes are absolutely delicious and the desserts delectable. The service is very efficient and friendly, characterized by great courtesy and kindness. We were delighted with both meals, especially at such unbeatable prices. We look forward to returning to S'Kastélé during our next stay in Schiltigheim. Michel and Marie Moulin, Lyon. Another visit to this wonderful restaurant today, August 14th. 18/07/2026: The cuisine was truly exceptional, everything was perfect, with beautiful pairings and exquisitely prepared ingredients. While we've seen similar culinary styles in other restaurants we've visited, this one deserves special mention. What sets this place apart, beyond the understated yet stunning decor, is the quality of service and the discreet attention paid to the guests. There's real excellence in that aspect, which we truly appreciated. The waiters and waitresses, the sommelier, and the chef were all very professional, and the chef was very welcoming. Spending time in a restaurant is a complete experience, and here, everything comes together perfectly. We'll definitely be back. And we're returning this week, three years later, after a visit to Paris. This restaurant remains a must for us.

08/07/2026: We had a great evening here. We went for the small plates, and everything we tried was really tasty. The owner was lovely and really helpful, giving us recommendations for the wine, as well as suggesting some other wine shops to check out. The place itself has a really cool atmosphere and feels like somewhere you’d happily spend a few hours. A great experience overall and somewhere we’d definitely return to.

06/07/2026: A great place for drinks with friends & sharing snacks. Service was excellent, so was the atmosphere. The slightly raw look exuded a more authentic local rather than touristy commercial feel. A few snacks stand out, including the chorizo buns & Buns a l’ail. Poulet roti & echine de porc good too, but salad Thai was a little disappointing. So was Eton Mess, it was nothing like the real thing but we it was a nice reinvention & we wolfed it down never-the-less.
