09/03/2026: We came on a Sunday at lunchtime. A very warm welcome, a great atmosphere with an open kitchen. The waiter was very pleasant. The dishes were generous and delicious. Their seafood sauerkraut is worth the trip. This is a restaurant to recommend.

17/03/2026: I really like this café. The brunch is very good, as are the desserts. It's a great place to work and relax during the week. However, the only downside is that some people are doing video calls there, so it can be a bit noisy. The service is excellent.

06/03/2026: Really happy to have discovered in 2026, this resto. It offers quite a large menu of typical American food. I've gone there for the breakfast options which were excellent, with correct prices. Really like the creative hash browns. 👌 As someone else noted here, it has a younger, trendy atmosphere. Pleasant wait staff. Take bus 83 to get there.

29/03/2026: If you're looking for a truly authentic and welcoming restaurant, I highly recommend Le Vieux Chaudron. A wonderful discovery, both for the quality of the food and the warm welcome. The owner is incredibly attentive from start to finish, with a genuine concern for her customers that truly makes all the difference. The food is homemade, using quality ingredients, and the presentation is elegant and unfussy: it's simple, delicious, and satisfying. You can taste the traditional, expertly prepared, generous, and flavorful cuisine. I was particularly impressed by the kidney cooked in its own fat. Contrary to what you might expect, it's not greasy at all; quite the opposite. The cooking is perfect, the flavor is magnificent—a real treat for those who appreciate bold dishes. And the desserts must be mentioned: a huge thumbs up! Delicious and expertly crafted, they provide the perfect ending to the meal. A place where the food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you definitely want to return. A must-try!

27/03/2026: Disappointed with my "oriental" pizza, which wasn't actually an oriental pizza. It didn't match the picture on their online menu. I got a merguez pizza, not an oriental one. Where were the peppers? The black olives were too smooth and too crunchy, not good quality. The pizza dough, however, was very good.

21/04/2026: Beautiful Parisian brasserie with elegant décor, attentive service, and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and the whole experience felt special. Would gladly return.

19/04/2026: The Parisian atmosphere was acceptable, but that's where the positives end. The service was appalling: the waiter was unpleasant and pushy, even going so far as to impose choices (rice + salad supplement for €7) when the side dishes were supposed to be optional. The lamb curry was simply unacceptable: pieces with uncleaned fat, poorly prepared, and a sickening, almost inedible sauce. The whole thing clearly tasted like reheated food, lacking any freshness whatsoever. The rice, already served separately, was then imposed for no reason. The result: an exorbitant bill for such poor quality. An address to avoid without hesitation.

04/04/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant on Thursday evening and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The appetizers were delicious, bursting with flavor, and the ribeye steak… simply incredible! Two days later, we're still talking about it 😍 Meat lovers, go for it without hesitation! The service was impeccable and the setting very pleasant, which made the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this place!

29/03/2026: We were staying at the hotel across the street for a business trip. We were just planning to have a drink after work. We ended up spending the whole evening there! It was St. Patrick's Day. They managed to find us a table! The welcome was fantastic. The concert and atmosphere were great. And the appetizer platter was generous! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We will definitely come back on our next trip to Châteauroux and recommend it to our colleagues 😀
