30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.

The quality of the food is as perfect as the welcome we receive. The tranquility, the view of the marina, the comfortable bedding, and the breakfast (featuring local products) made for a truly delightful weekend in Barneville-Carteret. 01/11/2025: A delightful surprise! We discovered this restaurant during a family meal and were charmed! Upon arrival, you're welcomed into this beautifully renovated house. The small dining room is bright and spotless, with a clean, modern design that overlooks the well-maintained garden. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the food is delicious! Everything is homemade using vegetables from their own garden. A must-try!

28/09/2025: Such a wonderful place🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This was the best food and restaurant-experience I had for our whole holiday of two weeks. I love fish and could have eaten here every day. Simple, fresh and well cooked. Tasteful interieure. Very good service. Do book in advance. It is a small place.

Whether it's the quality of the produce, the cooking, the service, the owner's friendliness, or the setting, everything is excellent. It's always a delight. Never disappointed, including the salad, which is delicious (see photos). In short, I give it 5 stars.

The two owners are lovely and happy to offer advice about Ploërmel and the surrounding area. I regret not having had the chance to try the restaurant, but judging by the delicious aromas, I bet it's wonderful.

08/03/2026: An absolutely exceptional couscous! I discovered Le Riad today and it was a truly delightful experience. The couscous was generous, fragrant, with light semolina and perfectly cooked vegetables. The meats were tender and flavorful, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere transported you directly to Morocco. An address to recommend without hesitation—I will return with great pleasure.
