21/06/2026: We entered, and the young woman taking our order was admirably patient with our hesitant French. I am eternally grateful to her for having so graciously ensured that our order was taken correctly. We chose the dishes called the Master Class, the Pimp, and the Cheese Master, and all proved to be exquisitely flavorful. Being American, I pride myself on knowing what a good hamburger is—and this one, without a doubt, is one that stands out. Simply delicious.

20/06/2026: As an American, I found the name of this restaurant hilarious 🤣🤣 I don't understand the point of the name, but it's fantastic. The best name for a restaurant in France, for sure. Anyway, I love the food here. There are several options, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The fries were crispy and perfectly shaped for dipping, and the burgers weren't the best, but the topping options more than made up for it. 03/05/2026: We were a group of 10 people, the restaurant was completely empty, and we had nothing but problems. When we were trying to decide what to do, the waitress just said goodbye and left us mid-sentence. The waiters there were very rude.

06/04/2026: I arrived with my partner and we were refused entry, told we were full. I could see that the empty tables didn't have "reserved" signs, so five minutes later I called to reserve a table, and miraculously, there was space. I have no idea why we were refused entry; we are clean, well-groomed, polite, friendly, mixed-race, and young. Putting this unfortunate situation aside, the meal was excellent, with something for everyone and good value for money. The service was ultimately top-notch.

27/05/2026: Maison Tatami restaurant is simply excellent, it's so delicious! Everything we tasted was perfect: from the appetizer of soup and coleslaw, to the rice, gyoza, and chicken stir-fried noodles. A true delight from start to finish. In addition, the staff is incredibly kind. The service is both pleasant and very fast. I recommend it 100%!

06/07/2026: Delicious, every spring roll, every samosa, perfectly fried and fresh. The "crying tiger" is absolutely divine; perhaps it could use a little more rice as the salad dressing underneath is quite spicy. The Vietnamese crepe is also very good but a bit trickier to eat with just chopsticks. A great find in La Rochelle.

18/06/2026: Fantastic meal. I rediscovered the taste of my grandfather Henri's garbure, who passed away 20 years ago. The same taste, what a joy! It was also wonderful to still find, in 2026, a daily special for €16.50 including: Garbure Charcuterie Dish of the day (it was fish with sauce and eggplant gratin) Homemade dessert: a fabulous homemade Basque cake with cream The owners were incredibly welcoming, and the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I loved it! I'll be back, thank you!

The arrival of Chef Michael in the kitchen six months ago has further enhanced the high standards provided by everyone: local and regional products, homemade cuisine, and expert advice.
