28/09/2026: After reading good reviews about this restaurant, I decided to try it and was rather disappointed. The setting and terrace were pleasant, and the service was friendly, but there was no à la carte menu. They offered a set menu at €23 on weekdays and €26 on weekends at lunchtime, which was quite decent, and a €39 menu with a choice of two starters, two main courses (meat or fish), and two desserts. I chose the latter. It was overpriced for what I received. I was expecting something more elaborate, more refined, and more flavorful. Nothing exceptional. I won't be going back.

17/09/2026: One of the best restaurants in the region, the quality of the food is exemplary and the cuisine is truly excellent. Everything is local and homemade. The atmosphere is wonderful in this little wooded spot not far from Saint-Junien. I highly recommend it!

26/10/2026: A very mixed review of this restaurant...while the setting is pleasant and the portions are decent, even generous, the quality of the service and the food leaves much to be desired: the steak tartare was extremely basic, lacking seasoning or preparation; the fries were floury and clearly cooked without oil; and the banana tart and gourmet coffee were uninteresting. As for the service, the peach kir we ordered as an aperitif was made with peach syrup, not peach liqueur, making it far too sweet and lacking any wine flavor. Thirty minutes after finishing our main courses, even though only three tables were occupied, we had to ask for the dessert menu, and then fifteen minutes after receiving it, we had to call a waiter again to take our dessert order. In short, we were very disappointed by this restaurant, which could have potential. We will not return and will not recommend it.

06/11/2026: Before heading to the Louvre, I made sure to eat something nice. My Chinese stomach craves Chinese food wherever I go, so I found the nearest place, and the food was surprisingly good. They even had soup dumplings! Having lived in Europe for so many years, I know how difficult it is to recreate a perfect Chinese flavor with European ingredients, so I really thought it was excellent. The portions weren't huge, but the price was reasonable. My husband and I ordered five dishes and some soup dumplings, and we were quite full! 😂😂😂
