16/06/2026: A charming inn nestled in a verdant setting along the river; we had a wonderful time with friends celebrating a birthday lunch. The menu is exquisite, the staff delightful, a truly excellent place and a delightful discovery. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area!

15/05/2026: This review isn't about the food, which is excellent, but about everything else—and unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience. Upon arrival, we were told to leave at a specific time, even though several tables were available. This is quite surprising. During the meal, the pressure was constant: the servers stared at our plates, monitored our progress, and even communicated our progress through their earpieces. On several occasions, this became downright uncomfortable. The most unpleasant aspect was the reaction to our request for a doggy bag. The dish was very good, and I simply wanted to finish it at home. Although the request was granted, we were subjected to inappropriate remarks and a persistent, sarcastic attempt to discourage me from ordering dessert. I did order dessert—and I finished it, much to the disgruntled waiter's surprise :) Another point: some tables, with customers who were clearly wealthier than us, received very different treatment… My review is really about one waiter, whom I absolutely do not recommend and who ruined our service. The location is pleasant, as they're lucky enough to have a beautiful view, but the food is excellent, some of the best I've ever had. However, given the prices and the service, you'll get exactly the same experience at any competing restaurant. We now understand the bad reviews about this establishment.

28/06/2026: We came to the Auberge du Zoo for lunch on Sunday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were asked if we would like to eat on the terrace or inside. Given the extreme heatwave warning and temperatures nearing 40°C outside, we naturally chose the indoor dining room. Unfortunately, it was neither air-conditioned nor equipped with fans. It was around 36°C inside, and we felt stifled throughout the meal. We asked if it would be possible to have a fan, but received no response from the waiter. However, a few moments later, another table was given a fan, which we found regrettable. We would also like to point out that the waiters were doing their best despite the very difficult working conditions. They were drenched in sweat, their shirts completely soaked. We felt very sorry for them and wondered how they managed to work in such heat. It's a real shame, because this unbearable heat completely ruined what should have been a pleasant meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

27/06/2026: The restaurant is excellent: the food is very good, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, our experience at the upstairs bar was very disappointing. The bartender was arrogant and unpleasant, which really spoiled the experience. Furthermore, the cocktails we ordered were not up to par and very expensive! It's a shame, as this contrasts sharply with the quality of the restaurant.

29/04/2026: Everything was perfect. The owner was very welcoming to both us and our dogs. We ordered paella and the chef's special meat dish. Everything was excellent, especially the paella; the food was fresh and well-prepared. The homemade crème brûlée was delicious—we had seconds! 😝 We will definitely return when we are on vacation.

06/06/2026: My wife and I were looking for a snack and stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. It was hard to choose because we wanted to eat everything! In the end, we had fresh fruit juices, canelés, a cookie, and a strawberry Tropezienne tart! The servers were friendly and attentive!
