20/08/2026: €28 for 4 potatoes and 5 scallops. I don't know if that's expensive, but I was perhaps expecting a more generous portion. If you have a moderate appetite, it's fine, but if you're a big eater, you'll still be hungry! It's up to you :) It was still delicious though!

15/08/2026: Excellent welcome and service! The location is also great. A little disappointed with the food, particularly the Welsh rarebit with Maroilles cheese, whose sauce was a bit runny.

17/08/2026: One of the best meals I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I was contacted a fortnight in advance to inquire about allergies and preferences, and the chef’s tasting menu offered to me took these into account whilst presenting many welcome surprises. The food was all exceptional in taste, beautifully presented and well-explained. There is an à la carte menu but I recommend asking for the tasting menu as you will have the opportunity to try food you would never ordinarily sample. The sommelier was excellent in providing a flight of wines tailored to my request to explore Alsatian wines. The evening is certainly not a cheap one but should be considered as an experience rather than just a meal - it remains the highlight of my visit to Strasbourg. (As one point of minor feedback, whilst the tasting menu options - 4, 6 or 8 courses - were presented alongside prices, the options for the flight of wine were explained without reference to the price. Although it turned out to be reasonably priced, it would have been useful to be told the price at the time of ordering.) A final mention should go to the cheeseboard, an additional option highly recommended, in particular the 42 month aged Comté, a very rare find. In all, an outstanding meal, and the restaurant deserves far more than one Michelin star. I very much look forward to returning.

12/08/2026: A truly remarkable experience in the heart of Strasbourg. Everything was exquisitely executed, from the precision of the cooking to the subtlety of the flavors. I was particularly captivated by the creative presentation of the appetizers served on a ceramic tree-shaped stand. It's the kind of detail that demonstrates genuine aesthetic sensibility. We had a delightful time, each dish a visual and gustatory discovery. A place to remember for special occasions.

18/08/2026: Hello, Our experience at this restaurant... We had a pleasant evening, although we noticed a rather limited menu and "quick" service, all within 50 minutes flat! Otherwise, we received a warm welcome from friendly staff.

31/08/2026: We stopped by chance on our way to our holiday destination. From the outside, the establishment doesn't look like much and is barely visible. However, the inside is a different story. We were seated on the terrace in a very pleasant little garden. The food is homemade and the dishes are quite well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a lovely time. The service was a little slow, but we arrived at the same time as a group, which explains the wait since everything is made fresh to order.

17/08/2026: Not bad, but the problem lies elsewhere. Indeed, with Ganesh, the elephant-headed "god" of Hindu mythology, enthroned above the entrance, I have serious doubts about whether the food is truly halal. As a precaution, I strongly advise against going there.

08/09/2026: Very disappointing for an establishment using the official "homemade" logo. I ordered the homemade beef burger, displayed with this logo, but it was served with frozen, pre-packaged fries. The bun is also explicitly described as "homemade bread"; the one I received was very soft and didn't feel freshly baked at all. This problem seems to affect several dishes on the menu bearing the same logo. Please remove the "homemade" designation when the regulatory requirements are not met, as it can mislead customers. If this practice is not clarified or corrected, it may be reported to the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control).

26/08/2026: Excellent place: we received a warm welcome and enjoyed lamb chops (3 stars), a beef bo bun (2 stars), a chocolate mousse (3 stars), and a gourmet coffee (3 stars). Note that the restrooms are accessible without any steps. That's rare.

04/08/2026: We went for dinner as a group of eight, so we were able to try a wide variety of pizzas. They were all delicious and a good size. The service was very friendly; they even tried to speak in Spanish to translate some ingredients. Good value for money. The dining rooms are spacious and comfortable. Recommended if you're going with family, in a group, or with children. It's close to the cathedral, so it's a good option if you're in the center of Quimper.

23/07/2026: Very good! We sat outside, it was like being in your neighborhood. Quimber is built on hills and this particular spot highlights them. Pizza and spaghetti-fussili excellent. Friendly and beautiful environment. The shop closes at 10 pm, but there are a few bars below. At the time we were there, it was the Quimber festival. Laughter and joy with the Breton sounds.

27/08/2026: Friendly atmosphere. Perfect, homemade cuisine. Pleasantly surprised. Exquisite dishes. A blend of flavors. A taste sensation. Contis is a place we highly recommend for its overall conviviality, the ambiance in the walkway, the magnificent sunset, and the music. And the restaurant, with its delicious food and cocktails, is a must-try. We'll definitely be back next year.

As locals, we will definitely be back. A great team of young people who truly deserve to succeed. We highly recommend this place!
