13/12/2025: Good evening, we had 2 cream-based kebab pizzas, they were still the best we've eaten, and the service was as friendly as ever.

01/04/2026: Two welcoming rooms. The dovecote, intimate and pleasant. The barn, spacious and functional. Chic without being pretentious. The wood creates a hushed atmosphere; even at 120 km/h, you can talk without shouting. The outdoor areas, terrace, and garden are fantastic, weather permitting. A beautiful venue for a wedding. The owners are professional and welcoming.

14/12/2025: A truly magical place! We absolutely fell in love with this wedding venue, and it far exceeded our expectations. The site is magnificent, very well maintained, and offers top-quality services. The owners are attentive, present, available, and extremely reassuring, which allowed us to enjoy our day with complete peace of mind. All our guests were charmed by the venue, and we received only very positive feedback. A huge thank you; we recommend this venue without hesitation!

27/09/2025: A small, friendly restaurant, the welcome is pleasant, the dishes are simple, well cooked and well served, the value for money is excellent. Special mention for the chestnut cake 🌰. But the different pork or chicken preparations are very good too!

01/03/2026: An establishment that was recently taken over and revitalized by a great team of four friends who deserve to be known: On the restaurant/bar side: Cédric – the chef who has mastered the art of delighting our taste buds; Mathieu and Kevin – in the dining room; and Alexis – in the hotel department (I haven't experienced this aspect myself, but he's incredibly friendly and offers excellent wine advice by phone). Highlights: - Location: A charming mountain-style establishment with a warm atmosphere, in the heart of St Nicolas la Chapelle – a small, picturesque hilltop village, a stone's throw from Praz sur Arly. - The restaurant: Three rooms: the bar area, the après-ski area, and the garden room. Tastefully decorated without being overly formal. Kid-friendly and dogs are welcome. The menu apparently changes twice a year (one for winter and one for summer). In the kitchen: the chef has a real gift, possessing great creativity, with starters, main courses, and desserts that combine local specialties with a touch of exoticism, all blended together in his cooking for certain dishes. Our recommendations: Exceptional dishes in our opinion: the breaded poached egg meurette (simply divine!!! - one of their starters), then, in the local style, "tartiflette" (incredibly delicious), their "Croûte" (a must-try and perfect for "gratiné" lovers), the beef tongue in a spicy sauce (not too hot, but Mathieu or Kevin can add more spice for those with a fiery palate 😉). The fondue is best shared by two people, both Savoyard and classic. - The service: The staff is incredibly attentive from start to finish and offers excellent advice without being pushy, whether it's about the homemade aperitifs and cocktails, or the wine or other digestifs to brighten your palate ("always in moderation," of course! 🌟). The setting: elegant and very clean. The little extras: - The plant-filled dining room, which gives it a unique style and... a mountain atmosphere, which is even found in the... "The place where the king goes alone" - simple, clean, and spotless (see photos) - The water served at the table in a pitcher seems to come directly from the spring/fountain located right in front of the restaurant. Our experience: We had the opportunity to dine there twice (on the recommendation of the owner of another place worth visiting: La Ferme de Zecon - Flumet / a small mountain restaurant at the foot of the Evettes slopes - thank you Bernard, Guillaume, and Christophe for this great recommendation!) 01/03/2026: Superb chalet with apartments in the charming village of Saint Nicolas la Chapelle, which has retained its authentic character. The apartments are quiet, well-maintained, and clean, and the welcome was very warm. Restaurants and a grocery store are located at the foot of the chalet. Besides downhill skiing, there are opportunities for winter hiking/snowshoeing, cross-country skiing 20 minutes away in Les Saisies, visits to villages, chapels, oratories, and street art.

07/04/2026: Objectively one of the best pizzerias in Romans-sur-Isère. The pizzas haven't changed in years, always delicious and made with passion; we especially appreciate the thin crust. The owners are professional and very friendly. All the best to them.

06/01/2026: The onigiri are absolutely delicious! There's a great variety of choices in the shop, which is fantastic! And the lady who runs the store is incredibly kind; just her warm welcome and gentle nature make a visit to this little shop a success.

06/04/2026: Fantastic location for skiers with easy access to the slopes. We usually book self catering but as we were in Les Gets for a sneaky final week’s skiing we decided to take the 1/2 board option at John and Nicola’s family owned and managed slope-side hotel. Great food with plenty of choice and an extensive cheese board every evening. Excellent wine list and convivial bar - we had a brilliant week catching up with old friends. And the snow was good too so a fine end to the ski season. See you next year.

25/12/2025: A very pleasant and warm experience. The waitress was funny and very kind. I recommend making a reservation as it gets busy, and for good reason. You won't be disappointed. I had lunch there with my grandfather, who was very satisfied with the service and the food.

31/03/2026: A wonderful family visit on Saturday afternoon with a truly exceptional welcome. Product presentations, tastings, and highlighting of specialties, all delivered with passion and kindness. The only problem... everything is delicious and it's hard to choose! Home delivery is available in vacuum-sealed packaging, and they provided explanations for storage and cooking. Everything was fantastic, thank you so much again! A must-do, and I'll definitely be back!
