30/08/2026: We were a large table today, the service was good, and the staff were professional and pleasant. Happy to be able to eat our local specialties, we were disappointed by the quality of the dishes… The zucchini blossom fritters were extremely greasy, the saffron milk caps and peppers in oil were uninteresting, and the rest wasn't bad, but nothing exceptional… It's a shame because the set menu prices are attractive, and on paper it really sounded appealing.

30/08/2026: It's a shame, we ate with friends, about ten people, and the service was slow. The pissaladière appetizer was burnt (pastry and onion), and we had to ask for water several times before getting any. For dessert, we had to get up to tell the waiter our choices, and when they arrived, two were missing, which we had to ask for again.

05/09/2026: Don't let appearances fool you. What this restaurant may lack in polish from a superficial perspective is more than compensated for by the quality of the food, the hospitality, and the overall dining experience. One need not be intimidated by the unrefined presentation of the establishment or the handwritten menu. In fact, those details become part of its charm once the food begins arriving. The escargots were phenomenal, arriving screaming hot and absolutely packed with flavor. The famous chicken deserves every bit of its reputation, and I would argue it should be even more famous. At its core, it appeared to be a simple skin-on chicken leg quarter, but the combination of a balsamic reduction and sesame seeds was pure genius. A seemingly simple dish transformed into something memorable through thoughtful execution. Other members of our party enjoyed the vegetable and legume soup, which appeared both hearty and satisfying. Even from across the table, the aroma alone was enough to make me consider ordering a bowl for myself. For dessert, I opted for the chocolate mousse. Like many of the dishes, it was presented simply, but it was perfectly executed, rich with cocoa flavor, and exactly what a chocolate mousse should be. Others at the table enjoyed the lemon tart topped with meringue and were equally pleased with their choice. A feature I particularly appreciated was the ability to order wine by the 50cl carafe. It was the perfect amount for the table and offers a great option when you'd like a little more than a glass without committing to a full bottle. The experience was elevated further by the owner and server, both of whom were welcoming, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. The murals covering the walls were another highlight. They provided plenty to look at, sparked conversation among our group, and encouraged moments of reflection between courses. Overall, this is the kind of place that reminds you why substance matters more than presentation. Outstanding food, warm hospitality, thoughtful touches, and a memorable atmosphere make it well worth a visit.

23/08/2026: Great restaurant, very reasonable prices, fantastic cocktails – the best I've had since the beginning of summer, whether on the Atlantic coast or in the south. Super fries, excellent shallot cream sauce, but the mussels were a bit salty; the sauce masked the salt. We ate on board the port, which meant the dishes got cold quickly in the wind, but the desserts were impeccable. You can go without hesitation; I highly recommend it.

29/08/2026: No complaints whatsoever. The upstairs terrace with its view of the keep is fantastic. Impeccable service, quality products, and generous portions. No extra charge for choosing sauces. Great value for money, highly recommended.

20/08/2026: A superb experience at Desavie! For my starter, I had the zucchini blossom, followed by the turbot as a main course, and everything was simply excellent. Truly masterful cuisine. I especially loved the zucchini! And a special mention for the chef: charming, very kind, warm, and extremely friendly. You immediately feel welcome, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 20/08/2026: Doesn't allow children. Too bad, it looked good. It's shameful not to allow customers with children. There was plenty of space inside, even a spot for a stroller without it blocking the aisle. The waiter's only excuse was, "It's too complicated." If you have children, avoid this place.

17/08/2026: We stumbled upon this fantastic crêperie and weren't disappointed at all! The ratatouille Provençale was excellent, and the crêpes cordon bleu and burger were very good and generously filled. The atmosphere was super friendly. We'll definitely be back in the area next time! 😊

07/09/2026: I came last Monday, August 31st, around 2 PM. The welcome wasn't friendly; the girl at the counter seemed fed up with serving me, I didn't hear a hello, and I was practically scolded when I was choosing my bread. Plus, you were busy chatting. In short, I won't be back.
