This is a restaurant you absolutely must try, in a bucolic setting and at a reasonable price considering the quality of the food. The short menu changes monthly. Unfortunately, the dessert isn't in the photos because we devoured it before we even thought to photograph it...

16/04/2026: We had an exceptional time at La Brasserie de Saint-Nazaire. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the atmosphere: the welcome was warm and friendly, the staff had a genuine sense of humor, and their conviviality was truly heartwarming. The food was flawless: For starters, we shared elvers (baby eels) in a parsley sauce. It was perfectly seasoned, a delight! For our main courses, my partner thoroughly enjoyed the scallops with chorizo ​​and green curry sauce (an original and successful combination), and I personally loved the lamb kidneys in a parsley sauce, which were cooked to perfection. It's generous cuisine, full of flavor, in a truly charming atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and will return with immense pleasure. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

04/04/2026: A warm atmosphere. We arrived late after a concert, and the kitchen was practically closed. However, the welcome was warm, and the chef was absolutely lovely; he made us a delicious fish and chips. The bartender was very friendly and funny. The place is beautiful! And the customers are cheerful.

The six-course menu is well-paced, with carefully prepared and beautifully presented dishes, including a high-quality foie gras. Professional service and a pleasant atmosphere. A very good address for a gourmet meal in the region.

Special mention goes to the three-course foie gras menu: the scallops with foie gras sauce were particularly delicious. The ribeye steak from the à la carte menu was excellent. Pleasant service; the two ladies were particularly welcoming. Very good selection of champagnes at reasonable prices. It's best to make a reservation, as the restaurant was quite full. I highly recommend it!

08/03/2026: We tried this restaurant in Laroche-Saint-Cydroine for Moroccan food. The setting is pleasant, with tasteful oriental decor that immediately sets the mood. The cuisine is traditional and homemade. I chose the homemade couscous: the semolina was fine, and the vegetables and meat were very well cooked. The portions are generous. The service is friendly and attentive, with mint tea served in the traditional way to finish the meal. It's a great place to experience a taste of Morocco without leaving the region. Parking is easy in the square directly across the street. Remember to make a reservation on weekends.

But the constant price increases over the last 3-4 months are becoming unjustified and far exceed the budget allocated by my employer (for a mini bowl, the price went from €9 to €11 in one week, and if I remember correctly, it was €6.50 before). So I'm going to avoid them until the prices are reasonable. €15.50 for a salad is starting to get way too much, not to mention the delivery fees.
