19/08/2026: La Rhétaise is more than just a place to eat oysters. Since the daughters took over from their father, the culinary offerings have expanded and the place has become more charming. The view over the marshes is still as magical as ever. The service is friendly, quick, and efficient. The food is impeccable. A must-try; we've been coming for 10 years and we're never disappointed.

The food was good, but we were very disappointed not to find any of the Anglo/Indian dishes from the weekly menu, especially since, unless I'm mistaken, nowhere on the website does it state that the weekly menu is not served on weekends.

10/09/2026: An authentic and down-to-earth truck stop restaurant with a relaxed, after-work atmosphere. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, but also correspondingly lacking in explanations. If you're unfamiliar with the menu, you'll need to ask specific questions or observe other guests, but it works out. :) The food is simple but delicious. The homemade main course (we had chicken with fries and a side of vegetables) was especially good! The following options are available: - Complete menu (appetizer, main course, dessert including drinks) €17 - Two courses (appetizer and main course or main course and dessert including drinks) approx. €15 - Main course only including drinks approx. €13 Drinks: Cider, wine, water, and soft drinks are available. Appetizer: There's a cold appetizer buffet with salads, cold cuts, cheese, pickles, and bread for self-service. Main course: there were four dishes to choose from, which presumably vary each evening (that evening it was calamari, chicken cutlets, sliced ​​chicken, and traditional black pudding with sauerkraut). Dessert: there were various types of ice cream bars or ready-made pastries/desserts available in a self-service refrigerator. We especially enjoyed the relaxed, open atmosphere with all the truckers spending their evenings there. Certainly not a fancy restaurant for a romantic dinner, but definitely an experience. :)

03/09/2026: Arrived at noon, no one at the bar, the food on my plate was, I'd say, a children's menu and tasteless. The buffet itself was decent. When it came time to pay, the staff was unfriendly. The only positive point was the waitress who did her best to make things better. I've had better experiences at this place.

The coffee is good, the cakes too, there's always a great atmosphere, and the staff is laid-back and easygoing. It's quiet in the morning, perfect for working peacefully or just relaxing. Honestly, it's one of the best spots in the neighborhood—simple and efficient.

22/08/2026: Great place. When I was in Paris, my hotel was close by. I mainly went there for coffee, but once I was tempted by this particular roll. Before I could think to take a picture, the roll was gone. So I borrowed the photo from another commenter. A place with a unique atmosphere, perfect for breakfast or coffee. Friendly service. Delicious coffee. I recommend it.
