22/08/2026: The kitchen floor was dirty. Dust in the restrooms, and only one toilet. They forgot to serve our main courses and brought us desserts directly without a valid apology. The waiter had no hygiene. The cook rummaged through the wooden cupboards and didn't replace them. The restaurant was very expensive. And the wait was extremely long, even though the restaurant was almost empty (2.5 hours). On the plus side, the pesto was very good.

21/08/2026: A real treat! Good restaurants are hard to find on the way home. The terrace was lovely. The service from every member of staff was excellent. The tuna was excellent, perfectly cooked. The sausages were excellent, and the ratatouille was superb. We highly recommend it. We even bought some of the chef's homemade honey! 😃

01/09/2026: A small but excellent restaurant that also caters to celiacs. We made a reservation about a week in advance, mentioning that one of us has celiac disease and therefore needs to eat gluten-free. They assured us that this wouldn't be a problem and that we should simply mention it again when we arrived. They have a small but regularly changing menu, offering a choice of 4-5 dishes each for the appetizer, main course, and dessert for a three-course meal. Our celiac partner still had a choice of 2 out of 4 appetizers, all 5 main courses, and 3 out of 4 desserts. If there's any doubt, a course can be adapted (e.g., by omitting the topping of various seeds if there's any uncertainty). The meat/fish for the main courses is always freshly prepared over the fire in the wood-burning stove. We always enjoy the food immensely, and it has been an absolute must for us on every vacation for years. This year (2026) is the first time we've had celiac disease on board, and it's been an absolutely positive experience in terms of "eating out" for our celiac daughter.

27/08/2026: The service here today was absolutely unacceptable. The young man wearing glasses and a hairnet did not even make an effort to take our order. He apparently did not understand the word “Eiscafé.” What was even more shocking was that he laughed directly in our faces, then bent down behind the counter and continued laughing. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced in the city. In a place where many customers are foreigners, staff should be patient, respectful, and willing to communicate. This kind of behavior is simply disgraceful and completely unacceptable.27.08.2026

29/05/2026: Discovered for a birthday lunch. The welcome was perfect, as was the setting, which remains completely unsuspecting from the street. The food was fresh and of excellent quality, enhanced by the chef and his entire team. We would be delighted to return, perhaps in the evening, to explore the menu more thoroughly. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

20/05/2026: An exceptional starter: beef tartare with horseradish mayonnaise and a Gillardeau oyster. A real treat. And everything else was just as good and meticulously prepared. The dishes, the desserts, the service—everything was impeccable.

16/09/2026: Warm welcome, friendly owner, good value for money, fresh produce, simple menu. Excellent bacon and gherkin cream. The only slight drawback was a lack of spices or aromatic herbs to enhance the other dishes.

25/07/2026: A quiet, very clean, and pleasant place where I enjoyed a delicious flat white. The soft lighting and gentle music create a soothing atmosphere as soon as you enter the café. My father was able to choose from different types of tea; it was a great experience.

25/08/2026: Beware of the prices, as they are inflated with incomprehensible extras. The owner gave a convoluted explanation to justify the price increase, then the manager forced us to change tables, and finally forced me to leave under the violent threat of "not giving me time to finish my burger." Between the rudeness, bad faith, and aggression of the manager, I strongly advise against this place.

17/08/2026: Passing through Noirmoutier, we discovered La P'tite Cuisine. Fast but high-quality food, everything is homemade, right down to the burger sauce—delicious! The fries were amazing (and we're picky eaters from the North of France!!! 😅). The burgers and kebabs were top-notch! The owners are welcoming and friendly. We'll be back! 😉
