27/05/2026: We spent a few days together in the Chamatte house, rented by Mathieu.
The house is very well suited for two people, well-equipped, and spotless.
Mathieu is very helpful and pleasant.
The village of La Baume is very quiet and a starting point for several hikes. A very enjoyable stay.

Although, in theory, paying for the spring rolls separately seems a bit of a shame, even misleading regarding the price.
However, I understand that it allows them to order as many as the customer wants, and that the price remains very reasonable for a dish.
12/06/2026: Five stars wouldn't even be enough to reward the quality of the dishes for lunch during a work break, I sincerely hope that this place lasts as long as possible.

22/02/2026: We stopped by chance for a coffee and were pleasantly surprised to meet Germaine, the lovely and helpful manager of the bar. We even got some local news before heading back up the valley!
It was a pleasure to contribute to the life of this authentic establishment! We highly recommend it if you want to spend a simple and friendly time (bring cash).

22/03/2026: I simply had to share my favorite gourmet break with you, where everything is made with tradition and passion. Here, you're greeted with genuine kindness and excellent advice for your tasting. The buckwheat galettes and wheat crêpes are simply superb and bursting with flavor.
As for Corinne's pancakes… they're definitely addictive, the kind of treat that makes you say, "Okay, just one more…" then another 😅
In short, it's an address you absolutely must try!

09/03/2026: Excellent sushi platter; the fish was fresh and the portions were generous. There was a good selection, everything was well presented and enjoyable to eat. A great place if you like simple and satisfying sushi.
