03/04/2026: A hidden gem, serving delicious crêpes and gluten-free galettes. The owner and waiter were very friendly and communicative, the atmosphere was cozy (it was quite busy, but we got a table), and the prices were fair. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: What a great place pizzeria La Base in Bayeux is! 😊 The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome right away. And the pizzas… absolutely delicious! Fresh, generously topped, and exactly what you want when you’re craving a really good pizza. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area!

02/12/2025: What can I say? The food was reasonably good, the service pleasant, the waiter was friendly despite his lack of formal training, and the dining room was empty while the other restaurants on the square were full. The value for money was definitely lacking. Two things really disappointed us. First, I asked the waiter what vegetables were in my dish, and he couldn't tell me. When we came back, we learned that the chef had gone home, and the waiter explained that the kitchen assistant was running the show. Second, we were refused an upgrade to a higher-priced menu because, and I quote, the waiter said, "I ask at the beginning because I don't know how to upgrade the menu when the bill arrives." So we ended up paying full price for a starter/main course plus dessert, even though a three-course menu (starter/main/dessert) was available. This is the first time this has ever happened to us.

The servers were very attentive. Absolutely nothing negative to say. When will you open a restaurant in the Mont Saint Aignan area?

10/05/2026: You have to go inside to see the decor of this brasserie, not to visit the restrooms. Time stood still. The service was perfect, the Americano homemade, the dishes excellent, the tarte tatin was warm, and the cheese was at the right temperature and hadn't come straight from the fridge. A wonderful evening.

08/05/2026: A warm and inviting restaurant with soft lighting. The staff is very welcoming and the food is excellent. The cheeseburger with Comté cheese and Espelette pepper is absolutely fantastic!

The service was also very pleasant; all the waitresses were friendly. The price was reasonable, we arrived without a reservation and were seated quickly. A pleasant surprise.

09/05/2026: A place you can book without hesitation. The welcome was more than professional and exceptionally friendly, the rooms were stylish, spacious, and comfortable, and the restaurant terrace was magnificent and beautifully maintained. I highly recommend this establishment.

03/05/2026: Good evening. What a disappointment this evening's meal was. We were a table of seven. When we ordered, the waiter didn't tell us which items were out of stock. Right from the start, we ordered two fish dishes that were no longer available… Then, out of desperation, one of the guests chose another fish, and to her dismay, it was full of bones (at least 10!). For dessert, the same thing happened again: no crème brûlée… The portions were tiny compared to what we've experienced before. And the restrooms? Don't even get me started—they were filthy! The other diners' dishes were good but sorely lacking in seasoning. When we chose the wine at €60 a bottle, the waiter insisted on a different bottle, claiming the €60 one was too strong. The recommended bottle was around €200… We asked for toothpicks, which only arrived after three requests… The waiter was cleaning the tables with a lotion that smelled strongly of hand sanitizer, which bothered us during our dessert. Given the restaurant's reputation, I must admit I'm a little disappointed and I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

21/04/2026: A very pleasant family stay. The hotel is very well located, just steps from the Château de Villandry (a must-see). The room was comfortable, with a bathroom with a bathtub, clean linens, and a lovely view of the inner courtyard, where birds sang in the morning. 👍 The hotel has private parking right across the street. The welcome was warm and friendly. Dinner was excellent. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

15/04/2026: We arrived late for lunch and were greeted very warmly despite the time. We had a very good meal and the value for money was more than fair. If you are visiting Villandry or its château, don't hesitate, it's a very good place to eat.

01/05/2026: Luxury hotel with excellent breakfast and dinner. Friendly and very helpful staff, including with getting to the parking garage. We had booked two premium rooms with a request to have them next to each other. A few days in advance, we received a phone call saying this was not possible, with the option to upgrade one room for free so that we could end up next to each other after all. Top service. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, with super comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Dogs are welcome here.

19/04/2026: Fantastic stay at Sans Souci in the Vercors! Estelle took excellent care of us from beginning to end. The breakfast before our 3-day bivouac was incredible, exactly what we needed for our hike. Plus, she gave us lots of great tips about the region. A top-notch welcome, we highly recommend it ;)

09/05/2026: My partner and I came to Le Havre for a weekend. We found this restaurant quite by chance; it was conveniently located near our accommodation. The service was impeccable, with a waiter who was very attentive to his customers. The cocktails were excellent, and the dishes were expertly prepared. Try the French toast: you won't be disappointed.

23/04/2026: Don't hesitate to try Le Garde-Manger if you have the chance! The food is excellent, the menu changes regularly, and it showcases local produce! Plus, the atmosphere is unique, with paintings by various artists that are constantly being changed on the walls, and the owner is very friendly!
